WWE SmackDown

The October 25 2019 episode of WWE SmackDown is taking place later this evening.

The following “quick hits” are advertised to be included in tonight’s show:

1. Brock Lesnar and Cain Velasquez Face-Off on SmackDown

Brock Lesnar and Cain Velasquez will be stepping in the ring one-on-one at Crown Jewel next week for a WWE Championship Match. But as the two will be under one roof this evening, they can’t resist confronting each other beforehand.

They will, of course, be flanked by their usual sidekicks, Paul Heyman and Rey Mysterio, but what will come of this encounter remains to be seen.

2. Miz TV: Crown Jewel

Ahead of the upcoming Crown Jewel event, The Miz will have Ric Flair and Hulk Hogan, as well as all 10 members of Team Flair and Hogan, on tonight’s episode of Miz TV.

The odds of these 12 men remaining civil during this interaction are slim to none, especially given the fact that a few of them have already competed in singles matches and tensions between Hogan and Flair are already high.

3. The New Day Take On Robert Roode and Dolph Ziggler

As Xavier Woods is injured, Kofi Kingston will be stepping up against Robert Roode and Dolph Ziggler alongside his New Day brother, Big E.

The New Day and Heavy Machinery won their match when they teamed up for an 8-Man Tag Match, but Big E and Kofi will be on their own this time, against two of the most dastardly competitors on the SmackDown roster.

4. Nikki Cross Challenges Mandy Rose

Losing the Women’s Tag Team Championships to Asuka and Kairi Sane had no effect whatsoever on Nikki Cross’ resolve. In fact, if anything, it seems to have motivated her, as she has been climbing the ranks of the Women’s Division ever since.

Her next opponent will be Mandy Rose, a particularly difficult challenge as her partner Sonya Deville is never far away. But with Alexa Bliss at her side, Nikki Cross should have a fair shot at victory.
