The October 18 2019 episode of WWE SmackDown is taking place later this evening.
The following “quick hits” are advertised to be included in tonight’s show:
1. Roman Reigns Challenges Shinsuke Nakamura for the Intercontinental Championship
Sami Zayn has been running his mouth on behalf of his client once again, this time on Twitter. But this time, Zayn called out The Big Dog, Roman Reigns, who was quick to respond, letting Sami and Shinsuke know that if they had a problem with him, they knew where to find him.
Intercontinental Champion Shinsuke Nakamura welcomed a match with Roman Reigns, going as far as to put his title on the line for the occasion.
2. Bayley is Featured on Miz TV
Following her shocking change of character last week on SmackDown, including a new outfit, hairstyle, and attitude, Bayley will be joining The Miz in this week’s episode of Miz TV to give an explanation.
3. Six-Pack Challenge for SmackDown Women’s Championship No. 1 Contender
As Bayley defeated Charlotte Flair last week on SmackDown to reclaim her SmackDown Women’s Championship, she is now in need of a new contender.
So tonight on SmackDown, six women, Carmella, Nikki Cross, Dana Brooke, Lacey Evans, Sonya Deville, and Mandy Rose, will compete in a Six-Pack Challenger to determine who will be the next to face Bayley for the title.
4. The New Day and Heavy Machinery Take On The Revival and Dolph Ziggler/Robert Roode
The post-draft SmackDown tag division is loaded, which will be showcased in an 8-man tag match on tonight’s episode. SmackDown Tag Champs The Revival will team up with Dolph Ziggler and Robert Roode to take on The New Day and Heavy Machinery.
