The Kevin Owens Show: Shane McMahon and Drew McIntyre
“YOU’RE NOT GONNA COME OUT HERE AND TALK ABOUT HOW IT SHOULD HAVE BEEN YOU… IT SHOULD HAVE BEEN YOU 8 YEARS AGO AND IT WAS, KINDA, THEN IT WASN’T, AND IT’S NOT GONNA HAPPEN, JUST GET OVER IT! – @FightOwensFight to @HEELZiggler on #SDLive pic.twitter.com/h8e7J0zJxv

As Shane McMahon and Drew McIntyre haven’t been able to get a word in without being confronted by The Undertaker in the last couple weeks, Kevin Owens gave them a safe space to talk about the upcoming tag match at Extreme Rules on the Kevin Owens Show.
Shane and Drew once again said that they weren’t afraid of The Undertaker, they were going to destroy him, and to make it even worse for him and his tag partner, Roman Reigns, it would now be a No Holds Barred match.
Kevin Owens began to lose it, obviously fed up with Shane and Drew’s blatant lies, and called them out for being afraid of The Undertaker. Shane and Drew got up to leave, but Dolph Ziggler made his entrance instead.
Already fired up, Kevin Owens turned on Ziggler before he ever spoke, screaming that he was tired of Dolph’s ceaseless stream of complaints, especially because his claims weren’t justified.
Kevin demanded that Shane McMahon choose between them to decide who should be the one to face Kofi Kingston for his WWE Championship. And, of course, he said neither. Because the obvious choice was Drew McIntyre.
But it might be fun to watch them fight, so he set a tag match between Heavy Machinery and the team of Dolph Ziggler and Kevin Owens, the winner of which will be added to the SmackDown Live Tag Team Championship Match at Extreme Rules.
Big E vs. Daniel Bryan

Ahead of their Tag Team Championship Match at Extreme Rules, Big E and Daniel Bryan went one-on-one to prove who was the better man.
Daniel Bryan struggled to gain momentum against Big E, who simply overpowered him at every turn. Bryan had control for a moment or two, but quickly lost it again. Unfortunately, as Big E was closing in on the victory, Daniel’s protector Rowan was at ringside to put a halt to it. In the form of smashing Big E’s head into the ring post.
Rowan laid out Xavier Woods to prevent any interference while Daniel Bryan hit Big E with a running knee, taking the win.
Winner: Daniel Bryan

Backstage, R-Truth was interviewed regarding his loss of the 24/7 Championship to Drake Maverick. Truth was distraught, to say the least, and said that he just wanted his baby back. He was willing to do anything to get it, including crashing Maverick’s honeymoon.
A Moment of Bliss: Bayley
“You’re doing great, Nikki!”

We agree. 😊 #SDLive #MomentOfBliss @NikkiCrossWWE pic.twitter.com/4CY5eezy9E
As Alexa Bliss and Nikki Cross made their way toward the stage for A Moment of Bliss, Alexa suddenly suggested that Nikki Cross host the show in her place. Nikki was hesitant but ultimately agreed to the job.
Once Bayley was seated, Nikki Cross jumped straight into the tough questions, such as why Bayley called her best friend a liar. Bayley said Alexa Bliss was a liar, and then asked Nikki why Alexa was facing her at Extreme Rules instead of her.
Nikki remained loyal to Alexa, disregarding Bayley’s question then challenging her to a match right then to punish her for her harsh words toward The Goddess.

Doing her best not to lose to Nikki Cross a second time, Bayley tried for a quick victory with a roll-up, but Nikki Cross powered out. Nikki just wanted to make her best friend proud, but Bayley refused to let her gain the upper hand.
Nikki began to pull away with a crossbody, unleashing a vicious flurry of offense until she was eventually laid out by a Bayley to Belly suplex and lost the match.
Nikki Cross was heartbroken, and will no doubt soon face the wrath of Alexa Bliss, whose “love” for Nikki is anything but unconditional.
Winner: Bayley
Samoa Joe and Kofi Kingston Interview

— WWE Universe (@WWEUniverse) July 3, 2019
Kayla Braxton welcomed Samoa Joe and Kofi Kingston to the ring for their interview, but it wasn’t long before Samoa Joe “kindly” asked Kayla to leave, as he and Kofi needed to discuss things one-on-one.
Joe told Kofi Kingston that he was nothing without The New Day, but didn’t even appreciate it. Xavier Woods and Big E would probably be nothing more than sidekicks in a few years.
Kofi Kingston came back with some verbal jabs of his own, but no one is as lethal on the microphone as Samoa Joe, who said that the only reason Kofi brought his children to the ring after he won the title at WrestleMania was to pander to the audience.
Kofi claimed that Samoa Joe was just jealous of him, his friends, and his moment. Joe offered a handshake, which, if Kofi accepted, would stop the attacks on him and his friends until Extreme Rules.
Kofi refused, but with a middle finger instead of words, and leveled Joe with a Trouble in Paradise before he could attack.
Andrade vs. Apollo Crews
Look at @WWEApollo go! 😱 #SDLive @AndradeCienWWE pic.twitter.com/6ikhO8AWRX
— WWE Universe (@WWEUniverse) July 3, 2019
Andrade took his ruthlessness to the next level in this match, attacking Apollo Crews before the bell had even rung. However, this didn’t get him quite as far as he probably hoped, as Apollo Crews struck back hard, taking Andrade out at ringside before laying into him back in the ring.
Zelina was absolutely horrorstruck at ringside as she watched her client lose control of the match. Apollo Crews was close to winning the match, and probably would have, but Zelina interfered, attacking Apollo and leaving him vulnerable to Andrade’s devastating hammerlock DDT.
Winner: Andrade
Aleister Black Issues a Challenge
Whoever dares pick a fight with @WWEAleister can reveal themselves at #ExtremeRules. #SDLive pic.twitter.com/eVCkH9KaSa
— WWE (@WWE) July 3, 2019
Aleister Black was shown in his dark room and revealed that whoever knocked on his door last week was not there once he answered it. But if they really wanted to fight him, they would meet him in the ring at Extreme Rules.
Mandy Rose vs. Ember Moon
This has to feel GOOD for The #WarGoddess. @WWEEmberMoon defeats @WWE_MandyRose on #SDLive! pic.twitter.com/qnsZuhDDI2
— WWE (@WWE) July 3, 2019
Ember Moon was eager to gain retribution for Mandy and Sonya’s treatment of her the past few weeks, but Sonya Deville was in her head, and distracted her without having to do anything at all.
This allowed Mandy Rose to remain dominant throughout much of the match, but within what felt like a split second, Ember Moon had fought off Mandy Rose, hit an Eclipse, and won the match.
Now all she needs is a victory over Sonya Deville and she will have the vengeance she desires.
Winner: Ember Moon
Kevin Owens and Dolph Ziggler vs. Heavy Machinery
IMPRESSIVE teamwork between @FightOwensFight & @HEELZiggler! 👏👏👏 #SDLive pic.twitter.com/ZtcS9E7Y0L
— WWE (@WWE) July 3, 2019
With both Daniel Bryan and Rowan and Xavier Woods and Big E at the announce tables (The New Day at their special orange pancake table), Kevin Owens and Dolph Ziggler were forced to team up on their journeys to glory.
If they defeated Heavy Machinery, they would have the opportunity to face Bryan and Rowan for their Tag Team Championships at Extreme Rules, along with New Day.
Heavy Machinery had the obvious advantage of being an established team, while Kevin and Dolph were forced to put their differences aside if they were going to have any hope of winning.
Shortly after the match began, The New Day attacked Bryan and Rowan, who made them regret this decision when Big E was flattened and Xavier Woods was put through the pancake-laden announce table.
Because of the disturbance caused by the spectators, the match was restarted. With Tucker in the ring against Kevin Owens, Heavy Machinery quickly picked up steam, but when Tucker was dumped to the outside, Dolph and Kevin took control.
However, when a fresh Otis tagged into the match, he immediately went to work using his size to his advantage. Ziggler and Owens tried to come back, using underhanded tactics to do so, but Ziggler accidentally hit Owens with a superkick meant for Otis, and it cost them the match.
This enraged Owens, who knew all along Dolph Ziggler wasn’t worthy of an opportunity. He Stunnered Ziggler before screaming that it was his show. This will undoubtedly lead to a match between Ziggler and Owens in the near future.
Winner: Heavy Machinery
