The July 23 2019 episode of WWE SmackDown Live is taking place later this evening.

The following “quick hits” are advertised to be included in tonight’s show:

1. Kofi Kingston Chooses a Summerslam Opponent

Continuously proving himself a true fighting champion, Kofi Kingston is not willing to wait around for an opponent to be given to him, he has every intention of choosing one for himself.

Randy Orton, Elias, and Samoa Joe all threw their names in the hat for Kofi’s title last week, but that doesn’t necessarily mean the champ will be choosing one of them.

2. Shane McMahon Responds to Kevin Owens’ Challenge

Seated in his car, Kevin Owens couldn’t hold back any longer and took to YouTube to issue a Summerslam challenge to Shane McMahon, the “piece of garbage of a human.”

Tonight, Shane McMahon will respond to the challenge and most likely have some sort of retort to Owens’ hurtful words.

3. Ember Moon Goes One-On-One With The Queen

After Ember Moon teamed up with Bayley to successfully defeat Fire and Desire (Mandy Rose and Sonya Deville) last week, Bayley offered The Shenom a SmackDown Live Women’s Championship Match at Summerslam.

Ember, of course, accepted and will be looking to take her reputation to the next level by defeating The Queen, Charlotte Flair, tonight.

4. Shawn Michaels Takes On a New Position

Raw Reunion was a ton of fun, but the party hasn’t stopped for HBK, who will be taking on the role of special guest announcer for SmackDown Live.

5. Daniel Bryan Considers Making His Announcement

Last week, Daniel Bryan promised to make a “career-altering announcement” on SmackDown Live; however, when it came down to it, he was just too disgusted with The New Day and their victory over the Planet’s Champions to speak.

He might make this announcement tonight, but no promises.
