Raw Tag Team Championship
Jason Jordan and Seth Rollins (c) vs. The Bar
Jordan and Rollins don’t seem to be on the same page going into Sunday’s Royal Rumble pay-per-view event, and that will ultimately lead to their downfall.
Not only will The Bar walk away with the tag titles, Jordan and Rollins will no longer be a team going forward.
Winner: The Bar
2-out-of-3 Falls SmackDown Live Tag Team Championship Match
The Usos (c) vs. Chad Gable and Shelton Benjamin
This bout is our prediction for “match of the night” on Sunday, as we expect both of these teams to tear it up in front of a hot Philly crowd.
The Usos are the best tag team in the WWE right now, and they’ll prove that fact when they leave town with the SmackDown Live tag titles in their possession.
Winner: The Usos
2-on-1 Handicap WWE Championship Match
AJ Styles (c) vs. Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn
Handicap matches aren’t really our cup of tea, but if anyone can pull it off, it’s these three gentlemen.
Like Jordan and Rollins, we expect the team of Sami Zayn and Kevin Owens to split up after the Rumble. Their failure to get on the same page will allow for Styles to retain his WWE Championship.
Winner: AJ Styles
Universal Championship Match
Brock Lesnar (c) vs. Braun Strowman vs. Kane
One thing is for sure, these three monsters are going to beat the holy hell out of each other on Sunday, even if only for a few minutes.
As far as a winner is concerned, Brock Lesnar will reign and conquer at the Royal Rumble, with his sites set on WrestleMania 34.
Winner: Brock Lesnar
30-Woman Royal Rumble Match
There is a lot of hype surrounding the first ever 30-woman Royal Rumble match, and rightfully so. This is a huge moment, and these women are going to go all out in an attempt to meet the lofty expectations.
Asuka, Nia Jax, and even former UFC star Ronda Rousey are some of the names fans are predicting to walk away victorious. We’re going to go in another direction and predict Becky Lynch to be the last woman standing when the final bell tolls.
Winner: Becky Lynch
30-Man Royal Rumble Match
The 30-man Royal Rumble match is one of WWE’s biggest and best traditions. Many iconic moments have occurred at the Royal Rumble, and if things go well, we could see a few more on Sunday night.
Fans are buzzing about who they think will win the Rumble this year, as there isn’t a clear favorite at this time. The two most likely to win, Roman Reigns and Shinsuke Nakamura, make a ton of sense storyline-wise, so we’re going to pick between those two.
Reigns has already won a Rumble match in Philly before, and that didn’t go over well, which means the era of Nakamura may be upon us.
Winner: Shinsuke Nakamura
