The September 30 2019 episode of WWE Raw is taking place later this evening.
The following “quick hits” are advertised to be included in tonight’s show:
1. Rey Mysterio Challenges Seth Rollins for the Universal Championship
Tonight’s episode of Raw marks the first episode of a brand new season of the flagship show, and the occasion will be celebrated with a Universal Championship Match (along with several other marquee events).
And last week, Rey Mysterio defeated four other competitors in a Fatal 5-Way Match to earn his place in this championship match.
2. Brock Lesnar Makes An Appearance on Raw
Though Brock Lesnar has a WWE Championship Match awaiting him on this Friday’s SmackDown, he will be making his presence felt on Raw as well.

3. The Miz Has Two Legends on Miz TV
Along with the Universal Championship Match, The Miz will host one of the biggest episodes of Miz TV of all time, bringing both Hulk Hogan and Ric Flair onto the show.
4. Sasha Banks Comes for Alexa Bliss
Last week on Raw, Sasha Banks defeated one half of the Women’s Tag Team Champions, Nikki Cross (with just a little help from Bayley). And, witnessing Boss ‘n’ Hug’s cheating ways, Alexa Bliss jumped onto the apron to argue with The Boss.
But Sasha Banks was prepared and took Bliss down as well, so tonight, the two will settle things in a one-on-one (but probably not really) match.
5. Cedric Alexander and AJ Styles Compete in a United States Championship Rematch
Along with The OC, AJ Styles has beaten Cedric Alexander down continuously for quite some time, but the former Cruiserweight Champion doesn’t know the meaning of the word “quit” and will be resuming his pursuit of the United States Championship tonight.
However, Gallows and Anderson are sure to be close by, so the odds will be stacked as ever against the challenger.
6. Heavy Machinery Receive a Shot at the Raw Tag Team Championships
Dolph Ziggler and Robert Roode just recently became Raw Tag Team Champions, but will already be putting them on the line in a match against Otis and Tucker of Heavy Machinery.
Otis and Tucker have a much more fun-loving approach to tag team wrestling than Ziggler and Roode but are still formidable opponents for anyone who steps in the ring across from them and could very well walk out of Raw the new champions.
