The September 2 2019 episode of WWE Raw is taking place later this evening.

The following “quick hits” are advertised to be included in tonight’s show:

1. King of the Ring Tournament Round 2: Cedric Alexander vs. Baron Corbin

The quarter-finals of the King of the Ring Tournament begin tonight with Cedric Alexander and Baron Corbin. Though both Corbin and Alexander have made it to this position fair and square, and therefore should have equal chances of winning, Cedric Alexander is coming into this match at a disadvantage.

Last week, Cedric Alexander had a high-impact competition against Cesaro, from which he came out on top, but not before suffering a “knee injury” at the hands of the Swiss Cyborg. Despite this setback, Cedric Alexander will no doubt be giving Baron Corbin his all this evening, but only one of them can move on to the semi-finals.

2. King of the Ring Tournament Round 2: Ricochet vs. Samoa Joe

If Cedric Alexander vs. Baron Corbin wasn’t enough cause for excitement, the second quarter-final match taking place this evening will be Ricochet vs. Samoa Joe, a bout that is sure to deliver in every category.

Ricochet is as high-flying as they come, but Samoa Joe has proven time and time again that he is an expert when it comes to grounding and overpowering his opponents, making this an interesting match-up to say the least.

3. Firefly Fun House Comes Back to Raw

Since his brutal beatdown of Finn Bálor at Summerslam, The Fiend, and therefore Bray Wyatt, has been largely absent from both Raw and SmackDown Live (except to attack Jerry Lawler that one time on Raw).

But tonight, Bray and his Firefly Fun House will finally be making their return to the flagship show. Now that Bray has taken down Bálor, will he be coming back with a new target in mind?

4. Becky Lynch and Bayley Challenge Alexa Bliss and Nikki Cross

In the “first-ever Women’s Championship Showcase,” Raw Women’s Champion Becky Lynch and SmackDown Live Women’s Champion Bayley will team up to take on the coffee-loving BFFs, Alexa Bliss and Nikki Cross.

Although Bayley and Lynch are at the top of the Women’s Division, they aren’t the close-knit team that Bliss and Cross have become. And if Alexa Bliss and Nikki Cross can defeat the two main roster women’s champions, they will obviously be making even bigger names for themselves than they already have.

5. Clash of Champions Contract Signing

Raw Tag Team Champions, Seth Rollins and Braun Strowman, will stand face-to-face in the ring on Raw for a contract signing. Not as a team, but as opponents, as Braun Strowman recently challenged Seth Rollins to a match for his Universal Championship at Clash of Champions, on top of their Tag Team Championship Match against Dolph Ziggler and Robert Roode.
