The July 29 2019 episode of WWE Raw is taking place later this evening.
The following “quick hits” are advertised to be included in tonight’s show:
1. Seth Rollins Challenges Dolph Ziggler
Both Seth Rollins and Dolph Ziggler draw a great deal of inspiration from Shawn Michaels, and in the last couple of weeks, Rollins and Ziggler each had an interaction with their role model, but those experiences couldn’t have been more different.
Shawn Michaels and the rest of DX came to Seth Rollins’ rescue when AJ Styles and The OC tried to gang up on him during Raw Reunion. The very next week, Michaels and Miz were having a discussion on Miz TV when Dolph Ziggler interrupted. Things got physical and before long, HBK was laid out in the ring thanks to a superkick from Ziggler.
Tonight, Seth Rollins will be out to get revenge for Michaels when he steps in the ring with Dolph Ziggler.
2. Two Samoan Joes Meet in a Samoan Summit
The feud between Samoa Joe and Roman Reigns has been slowly growing in the last weeks, but the two Samoan Joes are looking to squash the dispute at a Samoan Summit on Raw. They may be able to talk things out, but being face to face may only escalate the tension.
3. Becky Lynch Takes On Alexa Bliss
Alexa Bliss did not appreciate Becky Lynch ruining her Moment of Bliss by brawling with Natalya, so even though this will be a non-title match, Bliss is happy to have a chance at getting back at The Man.
Alexa will obviously have her new BFF Nikki Cross by her side, and the feud between Natalya and Becky is ongoing, so the probability of some kind of interference in the match is high.
4. 24/7 Championship Mischief
After all of the 24/7 Championship shenanigans during Raw Reunion, it was nothing short of a miracle that R-Truth managed to leave with the title – and Drake Maverick’s wife.
With Truth on the run with both Maverick’s babies, the most fervent 24/7 title pursuer may have finally reached his breaking point.
