The August 19 2019 episode of WWE Raw is taking place later this evening.

The following “quick hits” are advertised to be included in tonight’s show:

1. King of the Ring Returns

The popular tournament, King of the Ring, hasn’t been featured on WWE TV since 2015. Until tonight – when it makes a stellar comeback on Raw. With a bracket absolutely stacked with superb talent, there is no doubt that the 2019 King of the Ring Tournament will pack a punch.

2. Braun Strowman Challenges AJ Styles for the United States Championship

AJ Styles, Luke Gallows, and Karl Anderson, the three malicious members of The OC, have been on a bit of a rampage lately, using their numbers to bring down any and everyone in their path. That is until they ran headlong into The Monster Among Men, Braun Strowman.

Strowman, less than impressed by their heel antics, laid out all three members after their ambush of Seth Rollins and Ricochet. In an attempt to get back at Strowman, Styles has challenged him to a United States Championship Match tonight on Raw, but there is no way Styles would get himself into such a perilous situation without a plan up his sleeve.

3. What’s Next for The Boss?

Last week on Raw, Sasha Banks made an impactful return. First attacking Natalya, who was crying in the ring over the loss of her father at the time, then Becky Lynch, who had run down to save the Queen of Harts.

After this vicious assault, Becky Lynch has promised to get revenge on Banks but didn’t specify when this receipt would come. Meaning it could very well be tonight.

4. King of the Ring Round 1: Cedric Alexander vs. Sami Zayn

In one of two first matches of the King of the Ring Tournament, Sami Zayn will be looking to end his losing streak against Cedric Alexander, who has a point to prove of his own, after suffering at the hands of Drew McIntyre for weeks.

5. King of the Ring Round 1: Cesaro vs. Samoa Joe

Opposite to the other first-round King of the Ring match, this one will be less about proving who will be the one to turn their luck around and more about proving which man is the biggest badass in WWE.

Cesaro and Samoa Joe have both been barreling through opponent after opponent, but only one can advance to the next round and get one step closer to becoming King of the Ring.

6. Will Elias Hang On to the 24/7 Championship?

Elias lucked out last week, as Shane McMahon decreed that he would be exempt from defending his 24/7 Championship due to being a special guest enforcer, but that ends tonight. And with this end to the embargo, Drake Maverick, as well as the rest of the 24/7 contenders, will unquestionably be back on the hunt.

7. The King’s Court: Sasha Banks

Jerry Lawler will return to Raw once again, this time to interview Sasha Banks regarding her return and subsequent beatdown of her fellow women of Raw. However, The Boss has promised no answers, and Banks alone in the ring will be an opportune moment for Becky Lynch to get back at her for last week, so the chances of this segment going awry are high.
