“Bomber” Dave Mastiff vs. “Primate” Jay Melrose
David Mastiff vs. Jay Melrose kicked off the show in singles competition. The two had short-but-fun match that saw Mastiff get the win via pinfall following a Cannonball Splash in the corner.
Winner: “Bomber’ Dave Mastiff
The Tag Champs Speak
Up next was an in-ring promo from Grizzled Young Veterans (or more specifically, Zack Gibson).
Gibson told the fans that they could take their shoes off, or call the two silly names, but they also had to call them NXT UK Tag Team Champions.
Sid Scala then joined the segment and announced the GYV’s first challengers – Danny Burch and Oney Lorcan.
Jack Starz vs. WALTER
WALTER absolutely demolished Jack Starz in quick fashion. WALTER scored the pinfall victory after nailing Starz with a brutal powerbomb.
Backstage, WALTER and Mark Coffey had an interaction with one another. Referees stood between the two while Coffey tried to provoke WALTER into a physical interaction.
WALTER also got some backstage support from former friends Fabian Aichner and Marcel Barthel. I say former, because WALTER didn’t say a single word to the two and walked away from them, upsetting Aichner.
Jinny vs. Kacey Owens
Jinny defeated Kacey Owens in another short-but-fun match. Jinny is slowly coming into her own and is starting to figure out what her character is supposed to be. She’s got a chance to be a big star one day.
Moustache Mountain vs. Fabian Aichner vs. Fabian Aichner and Marcel Barthel
Moustache Mountain faced off against Fabian Aichner and Marcel Barthel in tag team action to close out the show. The two teams had an absolute banger of a match.
Moustache Mountain got the win, but go out of your way to check this one out if you missed it, because it’s well worth the watch.
Winner: Moustache Mountain
