Tyler Bate vs. Jack Gallagher

205 Live’s Jack Gallagher faced off against Tyler Bate to kickoff the show.

We saw a ton of great technical wrestling from both guys. As a matter of fact, neither man ever went to the top rope, or even ran the ropes, at any point in the match.

Gallagher went after Bate’s ankle/leg for the majority of the bout. After a hard-hitting striking exchange, Bate went for the airplane spin, but couldn’t pull it off due to his bad leg. Good stuff.

After a crazy pinning sequence where both guys literally rolled around and exchanged one-counts for at least thirty seconds, Bate landed a roll-up and scored the pinfall victory.

This match was completely different than the normal WWE TV match and very fun to watch.

Winner: Tyler Bate

Devlin and Banks Brawl at the PC

Footage of Travis Banks and Jordan Devlin getting into a physical altercation at the UK Performance Center was shown. A “Falls Count Anywhere” match between the two was announced for next week’s show, which should be awesome.

Kassius Ohno vs. WALTER

After a slow feeling out process, Kassius Ohno made a big mistake and chopped WALTER in the chest. The two tussled to the floor, where WALTER slammed Ohno back-first onto the ring apron in retaliation.

Back in the ring, WALTER nailed Ohno with a big bodyslam, and then followed that up with a back chop//German suplex combination.

Ohno finally got back into the match after dropping WALTER with some big strikes. Unfortunately for him, it wasn’t enough, as WALTER planted him with a powerbomb and pinned him to win the match soon after.

Winner: WALTER

Grizzled Young Veterans (c) vs. Danny Burch and Oney Lorcan

NXT UK Tag Team Championship Match

A thumb to the eye and a shoulder to the post on Oney Lorcan set the tone of this match early. After that spot, the Grizzled Young Vets took control of the first half of the bout.

Danny Burch eventually got the hot tag and suplexed everyone in his path. A big knee to the face of James Drake resulted in a two count for Burch.

Burch and Lorcan nearly decapitated Drake with the Doomsday Uppercut, but Zach Gibson broke up the pinfall attempt. Lorcan and Gibson then exchanged slaps to the face with one another, which was awesome.

Burch and Lorcan nailed Drake with the high bridge DDT, but somehow he kicked out of it. Before long, Danny Burch was caught with the Ticket to Mayhem, losing the match for his team in the process.

Winner: Grizzled Young Veterans
