The August 14 2019 episode of WWE NXT UK is taking place later this evening.
The following “quick hits” are advertised to be included in tonight’s show:
1. Gallus’ Mark Coffey Takes On Flash Morgan Webster
Mark Coffey’s brother and teammate, Joe Coffey, took on Dave Mastiff last week on NXT UK. And as he was unable to defeat Mastiff (the match ended in a double count-out), Mark will have extra pressure on him to defeat his opponent, Flash Morgan Webster, tonight.
Not to mention Mark Coffey and Flash Morgan Webster will be across the ring from each other again in the NXT UK Tag Team Championship match at TakeOver Cardiff later this month, so there is no doubt that both men, but especially Coffey, will be out to get the edge over their opponent going into the special.
2. Ilja Dragunov Battles Kassius Ohno Ahead of NXT UK TakeOver: Cardiff
NXT UK TakeOver: Cardiff is just a couple short weeks away, and though neither Ilja Dragunov nor Kassius Ohno has been announced to have a match on the card, there is no question that they are both hoping for one.
To prove their merit ahead of the event, Dragunov and Ohno will go one-on-one tonight in hopes of gaining one of the coveted spots on the second-ever NXT UK TakeOver.
