WWE NXT

The 10/03/18 edition of WWE NXT, out of the Full Sail Arena in Winter Park, Florida, just wrapped up. We’ve got the WWE NXT results, as well as our overall thoughts on the show, for you to check out below. Let us know what you thought about episode #470 of WWE NXT by tweeting us, @TheRumbleRamble.

Nikki Knows

An absolutely fantastic backstage promo featuring Nikki Cross kicked off the show. Cross hyped her upcoming match with Bianca Belair and reminded folks that she knows who attacked Aleister Black. Seriously, this promo was awesome.

Lacey Evans vs. Candice LeRae

After a fun back-and-forth match, Lacey Evans defeated Candice LeRae via pinfall following The Woman’s Right. These two are far from done with one another, which is a good thing if you enjoyed this match as much as we did.

Winner: Lacey Evans

The Champ Speaks

Tommaso Ciampa, the NXT Champion, responded to Velveteen Dream’s comments from last week. Ciampa basically told Dream to be careful what he wished for, because he could turn the Dream into a nightmare with ease.

The Forgotten Sons vs. ???

The Forgotten Sons absolutely squashed three nameless individuals. Jaxson Ryker got the pinfall for his team via the slingshot powerbomb, which looked brutally awesome.

Winner: The Forgotten Sons

Bianca Belair Retorts

Bianca Belair was given a chance to respond to Nikki Cross’ comments from earlier in the show, and she brought the fire, per usual. Belair said that she isn’t with the games, and she’s also un-de-feat-ed, both of which are factual statements. Belair plans to remain unbeaten after embarrassing Cross in their upcoming match.

Johnny Gargano vs. Tony Nese

Johnny Gargano and Tony Nese had an absolutely incredible match with one another. Nese nearly pulled off the upset, but Gargano eventually got the submission victory via the Gargano Escape. If you missed this one, go out of your way to check it out, because it’s worth the watch.

Winner: Johnny Gargano

EC3 vs. Lars Sullivan

EC3 managed to give Lars Sullivan a bit of a fight, at least for a moment, but Sullivan pulled away and got the win in the end. Sullivan nailed EC3 with a diving headbutt to score the pinfall, gaining some momentum and further establishing his case for another NXT Championship opportunity.

Winner: Lars Sullivan
