WWE NXT

The 10/24/18 edition of WWE NXT, out of the Full Sail Arena in Winter Park, Florida, just wrapped up. We’ve got the WWE NXT results, as well as our overall thoughts on the show, for you to check out below. Regal Attempts to Secure the Premises

Tonight’s show opened with a clip of General Manager William Regal lining up some less-than-impressive security guards outside of the building in an attempt to slow Aleister Black down upon his arrival. In case you missed it, Black knows who attacked him, and Regal expects Black to show up tonight looking for revenge in the worst way.

Adam Cole vs. EC3

Adam Cole, accompanied by the rest of Undisputed Era, cut an in-ring promo. Cole reminded everyone that the group is finally healthy again, as Bobby Fish was recently cleared for competition. Cole then threw shade in the direction of War Raiders and Ricochet, but EC3 answered the threats instead.

The two had an impromptu match that saw EC3 dominate Cole in impressive fashion. Even with the rest of Undisputed Era getting involved, EC3 was able to get the pinfall victory over Cole without much of a struggle.

Unfortunately for EC3, he was laid out by Undisputed Era post-match. Fish crushed EC3’s knee with a vicious chair shot to close out the segment, because mean people do mean things.

Winner: EC3

Aliyah vs. Mia Yim

Mia Yim made her NXT debut, defeating Aliyah in a somewhat back-and-forth match. Aliyah is getting better each and every week, and Yim is tremendous, so we’d love to see these two meet again in the near future.

Winner: Mia Yim

Kassius Ohno vs. Justin Xavier (???)

Kassius Ohno absolutely crushed Justin Xavier (???) in a squash match. Ohno wants legit competition, specifically with some of the newer talent in NXT. Expect to see some great matches featuring Ohno and the likes of Matt Riddle and Keith Lee in the near future.

Post-match, Nikki Cross came out and informed everyone (including Ohno) that “he’s coming,” hinting that Aleister Black was near.

Winner: Kassius Ohno

What’s Next for Ciampa?

General Manager William Regal attempted to announce the next challenger for Tommaso Ciampa’s NXT Championship, but was interrupted by Ciampa, Velveteen Dream, and Lars Sullivan before he could reveal the name of said challenger.

Nikki Cross also entered the scene, screaming “he’s coming,” as video of Aleister Black demolishing Regal’s security team aired on the big screen. Black made his way into Full Sail Arena and quickly laid out everyone in the ring. Black aggressively demanded to know the whereabouts of his attacker from Regal, but then Johnny Gargano showed up and superkicked Black in the face.

Gargano stated that he was “right here” on the microphone to close out the show.
