WWE NXT

The 05/15/19 edition of WWE NXT, out of the Full Sail Arena in Winter Park, Florida, just wrapped up. We’ve got the match results, as well as our overall thoughts on the show, for you to check out below. Let us know what you thought about episode #504 of NXT by tweeting us, @TheRumbleRamble.

The Viking Raiders Speak

The Viking Raiders, with their NXT Tag Team Championship titles in hand, came out to kick off the show. The duo mentioned that they’re now on Raw and that no one in NXT has been able to defeat them, so there’s no need to have the titles anymore. They then asked General Manager William Regal to join them in the ring.

Before they could relinquish the titles to General Manager Regal, the Street Profits interrupted the conversation. They said that they knew they could beat the Viking Raiders, and the Viking Raiders knew it, too. They asked for a match with them tonight, for the titles, and the Viking Raiders accepted.

Cezar Bononi vs. Keith Lee

Keith Lee was SUPER over with the Full Sail crowd for this match, which was nothing more than a squash. He defeated Cezar Bononi via pinfall following the Spirit Bomb in a few minutes without much of a challenge.

Lee has to be in line for an NXT UK Championship title match at some point.

Winner: Keith Lee

Kushida vs. Kona Reeves

Kushida was rolling during this match, until Drew Gulak showed up and stood at the top of the ramp, causing a major distraction. Kushida didn’t lose control for long, however, and landed his handspring back elbow on Kona Reeves, to earn a two count.

On the top rope, Kushida wiped Reeves out with a diving senton, gaining a nice reaction from the crowd. Back in the ring, the Hoverboard Lock was all it took, as Reeves tapped out to the move rather quickly.

Spoiler alert: Drew Gulak vs. Kushida is going to be awesome.

Winner: Kushida

Vanessa Borne (w/ Aliyah) vs. Jessie

Vanessa Borne, with Aliyah getting involved in the match as well, was just too much for Jessie to overcome. Borne got the win after hitting an awesome neckbreaker on Jessie. Watch out for Jessie, though, she’s got some good height and moves really well in the ring.

Winner: Vanessa Borne

The Viking Raiders (c) vs. Street Profits

NXT Tag Team Championship Match

Much like the last time this match happened, these two teams wasted little time getting things going. Ivar and Angelo Dawkins did dueling cartwheels to avoid offensive attacks, and the sequence ended with Dawkins laying out Ivar with a spinebuster.

Unfortunately, while still quite fun, this match only went a few minutes before the Forgotten Sons showed up and caused a DQ. Danny Burch and Oney Lorcan ran out, too, but everyone was laid out by the Viking Raiders to close out the show.

The status of the tag titles is unknown at this time, but the Raiders did lay them on the ground after the match, making it seem like they’re gone from NXT for good. Perhaps we’ll know more next week.

Winner: The Viking Raiders (via disqualification)
