The 01/16/19 edition of WWE NXT, out of the Full Sail Arena in Winter Park, Florida, just wrapped up. We’ve got the WWE NXT results, as well as our overall thoughts on the show, for you to check out below. Let us know what you thought about episode #487 of WWE NXT by tweeting us, @TheRumbleRamble.

The Metro Brothers vs. Street Profits

The Street Profits defeated The Metro Brothers in a very entertaining squash match. Seriously, the Profits never disappoint and always manage to make us laugh.

The Forgotten Sons gave the Street Profits a post-match beatdown to close out the segment. It appears we’re headed toward a feud between those two teams.

Winner: Street Profits

Bianca Belair cut an in-ring promo hyping her match with NXT Women’s Champion Shayna Baszler, which is scheduled to take place at TakeOver: Phoenix.

Baszler, along with Jessamyn Duke and Marina Shafir, showed up and got in Belair’s face. Baszler did everything she could to get under the skin of Belair and earned a smack to the face for her troubles.

Dominik Dijakovic vs. Adrian Jaoude

Dominik Dijakovic defeated Adrian Jaoude after Jaoude put up a bit of a fight. The match was never in any doubt, but Dijakovic didn’t just run through Jaoude, either.

Winner: Dominik Dijakovic

War Raiders Set Fire to Undisputed Era

The War Raiders set fire to those Undisputed Era chairs from TakeOver: WarGames in the middle of a field somewhere. In all seriousness, this promo wasn’t bad, but it also wasn’t anything ground breaking.

War Raiders will meet Undisputed Era at TakeOver: Phoenix for the NXT Tag Team Championship titles one week from Saturday.

Humberto Carrillo vs. Johnny Gargano

Humberto Carrillo and Johnny Gargano had an a short-but-fun, fast-paced match that absolutely ruled. NXT does a great job producing this kind of match; we usually get one every other week or so.

Carrillo got his chance to shine in the spotlight for a moment, but ultimately, it was Gargano who walked away with the win.

Winner: Johnny Gargano

Keith Lee vs. Kassius Ohno

Keith Lee came out and got the best of Kassius Ohno early on, so Ohno responded by taking Lee to the ground and keeping him there for as long as he could.

Unfortunately for Ohno, Lee got back on his feet and threw Ohno around for a bit. Lee hit Ohno with a slingshot crossbody, but only got a two count. Shortly after, he also landed a wicked Pounce but didn’t attempt to cover Ohno for whatever reason.

Eventually the referee got bumped, allowing for Ohno to hit Lee with a low blow to get the pinfall victory. Matt Riddle came out to make sure Ohno didn’t do anything rash post-match. The show ended with the two having a ring-to-ramp stare down with each other.

Winner: Kassius Ohno
