Pete Dunne (c) vs. Roderick Strong

Simply put, this match was awesome.

At one point, Roderick Strong viciously dropped Pete Dunne back first on the steel steps outside of the ring. Tons of forearms and knee strikes, all of which looked like death. This entire match looked painful, so kudos to these two for beating the bloody hell out of each other for our entertainment.

Pete Dunne got the win via the Bitter End.

If you haven’t seen it, check it out ASAP. This match is must-see.

Winner: Pete Dunne

Velveteen Dream Backstage Interview

Backstage, Velveteen Dream was harassed by the local media.

The Dream was asked about his opponent next week, No Way Jose. He didn’t appear to be too worried about Jose, to say the least.

He also had a few choice words for Tyler Bate. It’s safe to say The Dream isn’t in NXT to make friends.

Aleister Black In-Ring Segment

Aleister Black made his way to the ring. He said there was a devil on his back, and that he knew what he needed to do to remove it. He made his intentions clear: he wants the NXT Championship.

Before he could say much more, Killian Dain interrupted him and the two had a fun little showdown. Dain said that he was on Black’s back, not the devil.

Dain tried to walk away after getting the last word, but Black stopped him before he could leave and told him he was going to fade to black.

TM61 vs. John Skyler and Andrew Duckworth

Quick squash match. TM61 got the victory.

The two appear to be headed towards the tag titles sooner rather than later.

Winner: TM61

NXT Women’s Championship

Ember Moon (c) vs. Shayna Baszler

Early in the match, Ember Moon dove to the outside, driving Shayna Baszler into the announce table at ringside. It looked fantastic.

Moon’s shoulder was still injured, and Baszler locked in and made that her target for the entirety of the match, which was pretty short.

Baszler began doing even more damage to that shoulder outside of the ring, but Kairi Sane ran down and made the save. The match ended in a DQ, so Baszler got the win. Moon did, however, walk away with the title in her hands.

Winner: Shayna Baszler
