Punishment Martinez vs. Matt Riddle

Matt Riddle faced off against a debuting Punishment Martinez to start the show. The two had a fun, back-and-forth match filled with hard-hitting action. Riddle got the win via submission.

After the match, Kassius Ohno attacked Riddle from behind, laying him out to end the segment.

Winner: Matt Riddle

The Forgotten Sons vs. Humberto Carrillo and Raul Mendoza

The Forgotten Sons had an exciting tag match against Raul Mendoza and  Humberto Carrillo. Mendoza and Carrillo really stole the show here, but the Sons did some good stuff as well.

The Forgotten Sons got the win, but again, we want more of Mendoza and Carrillo in the future.

Winner: The Forgotten Sons

Shayna Baszler vs. Dakota Kai

Shayna Baszler and Dakota Kai followed that last match up with another banger. Kai gave Baszler everything she could handle and then some, but Baszler eventually put her to sleep with the Kirifuda Clutch, scoring the win in the process.

Baszler, along with Jessamyn Duke and Marina Shafir, attempted to further the embarrassment with a post-match beatdown, but Io Shirai made the save.

Winner: Shayna Baszler

Ciampa the Instigator

Tommaso Ciampa came out to the ring to cut a promo. He ran down the live crowd, the NXT Universe, and even Mauro Ranallo.

Aleister Black showed up and challenged Ciampa to an NXT Championship match at TakeOver: Phoenix. This drew the appearance of Johnny Gargano, who wanted another match with Black before anything else happened with Black and Ciampa.

Ciampa played with the situation, and eventually got Black and Gargano to agree to a steel cage match with one another.

Black tried to KO Gargano with the Black Mass to end the segment, but Gargano avoided it and made his way up the ramp. Ciampa, on the other hand, caught the Black Mass with his face and went down like a ton of bricks to close out the show.
