WWE NXT

The 04/03/19 edition of WWE NXT, out of the Full Sail Arena in Winter Park, Florida, just wrapped up. We’ve got the match results, as well as our overall thoughts on the show, for you to check out below. Let us know what you thought about episode #498 of NXT by tweeting us, @TheRumbleRamble.

War Raiders vs. ???

War Raiders absolutely crushed two poor souls who weren’t even around long enough to have their names said. After the match, War Raiders got on the mic and called for another tag team to come out for round two…

Winner: War Raiders

War Raiders vs. Cezar Bononi and Adrian Jaoude

Another brutal squash, this time against two familiar faces.

War Raiders are absolutely on fire right now. Remember, they face off against Aleister Black and Ricochet for the NXT Tag Team Championship titles this Friday at TakeOver: New York.

Winner: War Raiders

TakeOver: New York Hype

Speaking of TakeOver: New York, tonight’s show was jam-packed with video packages for the event. If you need to catch up, feel free to check out our TakeOver: New York predictions article, where we cover all of the matches and even take a guess at who the winners will be.

Oney Lorcan (w/ Danny Burch) vs. Jaxson Ryker (w/ The Forgotten Sons)

Oney Lorcan hit Jaxson Ryker really hard and often, but nothing he did ever really seemed to faze the big man. It looks like Danny Burch and Lorcan’s feud with the Forgotten Sons is far from over…

Winner: Jaxson Ryker

Bianca Belair vs. Kairi Sane

This main event match was really fun and totally worth checking out if you missed it.

Both Kairi Sane and Bianca Belair went back-and-forth throughout the match. Sane landed a big spear, a running forearm, and even locked in The Anchor, but Belair powered out of it.

Belair then hit a backbreaker and beautiful seated top rope suplex, which she followed up with a standing moonsault, but only got a near fall out of it.

Shayna Baszler and her lackeys then showed up and ended the match via DQ. Io Shirai ran down to make things even, and then the entire women’s locker room spilled out and into the ring where a huge pull-apart brawl took place.

Io Shirai ended up standing tall with the title in her hands to close out the show, but again, check this segment out if you missed. Everything from the match to the post-match brawl was fantastic.

Winner: Kairi Sane (via DQ)
