A large portion of this show was dedicated to recapping the most recent TakeOver special during WrestleMania weekend in New Orleans, but we’re not complaining. Now that we’ve had time to digest and rewatch, we can confidently say that our initial reaction was correct: this was one of the best wrestling shows of all time. It was wall-to-wall excitement for three straight hours. Every single person involved brought their A-game and made it a spectacle people will be talking about for years to come.
Kairi Sane vs. Lacey Evans

Lacey Evans is finding her character and getting better all the time, then you put her in the ring with someone like Kairi Sane, and you are practically guaranteed a good show.
Now that Ember Moon is on the main roster, NXT needs a new high caliber babyface to take her place and Kairi Sane is a perfect fit. Whether they’re going to go with her or Candice LeRae as top good guy of the women’s division remains to be seen, but at the very least, you can expect to see Sane continue her streak of great matches.
Winner: Kairi Sane
Heavy Machinery vs. Tino Sabbatelli and Riddick Moss

Tino Sabbatelli and Riddick Moss are somewhat lackluster, but Heavy Machinery are always out to win over the audience and succeeded once again. They got all their spots in, including Otis Dozovic doing the worm before elbowing Sabbatelli.
This was entertaining, but truth be told, it was less about the match itself and more about what happened to end it. The War Raiders made their debut and with no introduction, laid all four men out in the ring.
