The September 25 2019 episode of WWE NXT is taking place later this evening.
The following “quick hits” are advertised to be included in tonight’s show:
1. Matt Riddle and Killian Dain Compete In a Rematch
The feud between Matt Riddle and Killian Dain has been escalating for quite some time, and reached a peak last week on NXT when they went head-to-head in a street fight for the first live, two-hour edition of the show.
This match ended in what was probably the biggest brawl in NXT history, the entire men’s locker room emptying into the arena to jump into the action. As a winner wasn’t determined, Matt Riddle and Killian Dain will compete once more tonight, this time with even more on the line.
The winner of their match will be the No. 1 Contender to Adam Cole’s NXT Championship.
2. Dakota Kai Makes Her In-Ring Return
After nearly a year out of action due to a torn ACL, Dakota Kai will make her long-awaited return to NXT TV. Her opponent has not yet been revealed, but it’s sure to be an exciting match regardless.
3. Dominik Dijakovic Challenges Keith Lee
Dominik Dijakovic and Keith Lee create magic every time they step in the ring with one another and will do so again this evening on NXT. Dijakovic defeated Keith Lee in their last encounter, so Lee will have that little bit of extra motivation to bring down his fellow titan.
4. Epic Six-Man Tag Match
After Kushida interrupted Imperium’s intimidating speech/NXT US debut, WALTER challenged the high-flying time traveler to find some friends and meet him in the ring for a 6-Man Tag Match.
WALTER hasn’t specified which of the four Imperium members will be representing the faction and Kushida has yet to reveal the identity of his teammates, or if he has even managed to find two men willing to face off against the NXT UK powerhouse.
The only thing we do know is this match is going to be insane.
