WWE NXT

The October 23 2019 episode of WWE NXT is taking place later this evening.

The following “quick hits” are advertised to be included in tonight’s show:

1. Roderick Strong Defends North American Championship Against Keith Lee and Dominik Dijakovic

In a classic Undisputed Era move, Roderick Strong interfered in the North American Championship No. 1 Contenders match between Keith Lee and Dominik Dijakovic last week on NXT, hoping this would mean he wouldn’t have to face either of them.

Unfortunately, General Manager William Regal did not take this well and, knowing exactly what the crafty competitor was up to, set a North American Championship match between Roderick Strong and not one, but both of NXT’s resident titans. And Strong will face that exceptionally difficult challenge tonight.

2. Bianca Belair and Rhea Ripley Battle for Supremacy

Both Bianca Belair and Rhea Ripley recently challenged Shayna Baszler for the NXT Women’s Championship (along with a few other ladies of NXT), so to determine which of them will be the one to face the champ first (at least between the two of them), Bianca Belair and Rhea Ripley will go one-on-one tonight on NXT.

3. Finn Bálor Returns to NXT TV

In a vignette last week on NXT, Finn Bálor stated that tonight, his past will become his present. He will make good on this promise on today’s episode of NXT, as well as reveal what the meaning of this statement is to him.

4. How Will Pete Dunne Handle Both Damian Priest and Killian Dain

Pete Dunne already had his hands full with a rivalry against NXT’s Archer of Infamy, Damian Priest, but last week on NXT, Killian Dain got in the Bruiserweight’s face as he made his way to the ring for his match.

And instead of ignoring Dain, Pete Dunne took a moment to snap his aggressor’s fingers in half before casually walking to the ring to meet Priest. Now, he will undoubtedly be faced with an act of revenge from Dain, as well as a continuation of his feud with Priest.
