The November 6 2019 episode of WWE NXT is taking place later this evening.
The following “quick hits” are advertised to be included in tonight’s show:
1. Will Raw or SmackDown Respond to This Week’s NXT Invasion?
Triple H and his NXT army made a statement on the latest episodes of both Raw and SmackDown. Members of the NXT roster infiltrated the other two brands, laying waste to anyone they came across.
NXT certainly came out on top on both Friday and Monday night, but they did so, in part, by catching their targets off guard. And in doing so, obviously angered both the red and blue rosters, making the chances of retaliation tonight on NXT extremely high.
2. Shayna Baszler and Rhea Ripley Recruit for WarGames
Last week’s episode of NXT featured the introduction of the first-ever Women’s WarGames match, captained by Shayna Baszler and Rhea Ripley. But a WarGames match necessitates more than two competitors, so Shayna and Rhea will have to start recruiting for their respective teams.
Shayna Baszler has a built-in team with her fellow horsewomen but hasn’t officially made any picks thus far. And though Rhea Ripley has fewer friends, she has plenty of women to choose from who would be more than happy to take a shot at the champ.
3. Pete Dunne and Damian Priest Compete in a Rematch
As the battle between Pete Dunne and Damian Priest ended under questionable conditions (with Damian Priest hitting a low blow to incapacitate his opponent), the two will face-off in a rematch tonight.
And while Pete Dunne has Damian Priest to contend with, he will also need to keep one eye on Killian Dain, who made it clear that Dunne is his #1 target by beating down his best friend Tyler Bate on last week’s episode.
4. Tommaso Ciampa’s Journey Toward the NXT Championship Continues
During the NXT invasion, Adam Cole made plenty of enemies, including Seth Rollins and Daniel Bryan, but will have to switch gears once again to focus on Tommaso Ciampa, who continues to threaten Cole over Goldie, the NXT Championship.
Tommaso Ciampa is not backing down, going as far as to give a cryptic message last week on NXT, informing Goldie that he was “going to war.” As WarGames is just around the corner, Ciampa will have to reveal his intentions sooner rather than later, and will very possibly do so tonight.
