The July 24 2019 episode of WWE NXT is taking place later this evening.
The following “quick hits” are advertised to be included in tonight’s show:
1. Adam Cole and Johnny Gargano Reveal Their Chosen Stipulations for NXT TakeOver: Toronto
The feud between Adam Cole and Johnny Gargano has become so vicious that NXT General Manager William Regal made the decision to give the men the ultimate opportunity to prove who’s best: a 2-Out-Of-3 Falls Match at TakeOver: Toronto, in which each competitor will pick a stipulation for one of the falls, and if needed, Regal will choose the third.
Tonight on NXT, Adam Cole and Johnny Gargano will announce their chosen stipulations. Whether Regal plans to reveal the third or not has yet to be announced.
2. Damian Priest Faces Keith Lee
Both Damian Priest and Keith Lee have been bulldozing their way through competitor after competitor, but this week, the two titans of NXT will face each other and only one can come out on top.
3. Io Shirai Looks To Make a New Name For Herself Against Kacey Catanzaro
Something in Io Shirai snapped when she lost the steel cage match against Shayna Baszler, which was made abundantly clear when she brutally attacked Candice LeRae after the match, even though LeRae had come to her aid.
Io Shirai will be out to make this new attitude permanent this week when she faces Kacey Catanzaro, and will no doubt unveil a ruthless new in-ring strategy to go along with her physical and mental shift.
4. NXT Breakout Tournament: Angel Garza vs. Jordan Myles
The NXT Breakout Tournament has given us nothing but stellar matches since its debut and will be rolling on tonight when Angel Garza and Jordan Myles go on-one-one.
Jordan Myles and Angel Garza both made it through the first round of the tournament, defeating Boa and Joaquin Wilde, respectively, but there can only be one winner in the end.
5. Velveteen Dream Searches For New Challenges
NXT TakeOver: Toronto is just around the corner, but Velveteen Dream has been denying any challengers to his throne, claiming that no one is man enough for the Velveteen Dream Experience.
Roderick Strong is the most recent to stake claim to the North American Championship, but Velveteen Dream may have other plans for himself and his precious title.
