The August 14 2019 episode of WWE NXT is taking place later this evening.
The following “quick hits” are advertised to be included in tonight’s show:
1. Breakout Tournament Finale: Cameron Grimes vs. Jordan Myles
After an exciting tournament featuring some amazing new stars, the finals have arrived and will take place tonight on NXT. Cameron Grimes and Jordan Myles beat out six other competitors and made it to the end, meaning they will go one-on-one to determine who will be the overall winner of the event.
2. Breezango’s First Match Since Reuniting on NXT
Fandango made his return a couple of weeks ago on NXT TV, saving Tyler Breeze from an assault at the hands of The Forgotten Sons. Now that Breezango is officially reunited, they will be taking on Steve Cutler and Wesley Black of Forgotten Sons in a formal match.
This will be Fandango’s first TV match since his long break from WWE due to a shoulder injury. And that fact, coupled with the bitter feelings between the two teams, should make for some exciting action.
3. NXT TakeOver: Toronto Recap
Last weekend, the latest TakeOver special, NXT TakeOver: Toronto, took place in the Scotiabank Arena in Canada, prefacing Summerslam 2019. As this will be the first episode of NXT TV since the event, there is sure to be plenty of recaps of the epic matches that it included.
