Kaitlyn vs. Kavita Devi
Admit it. You missed her.@CelesteBonin #WWEMYC pic.twitter.com/04Ygqfd89b

The excitement for the return of Kaitlyn was real. Unfortunately, the support of the crowd wasn’t enough to keep Kavita Devi from clobbering her for much of the match. Once Kaitlyn finally turned the tables, however, it was all over for Devi. After a few minutes of payback, Kaitlyn advanced in the tournament with a spear.
Winner: Kaitlyn
Toni Storm vs. Jinny
Suplex, but make it fashion. @JinnyCouture #WWEMYC pic.twitter.com/7CYPIrvo9E

Toni Storm is almost frustratingly good, especially considering her young age. She made it all the way to the semi-finals in the first MYC, but this time she’s determined to go all the way. Jinny was absolutely vicious, but nothing she threw at Storm could keep her down for long. Toni continued to gain momentum and eventually captured the victory with a brutal Storm Zero.
Winner: Toni Storm
Xia Li vs. Karen Q
Another Round 1 matchup is underway, and @karenmeee wastes no time bringing the fight to @XiaWWE! #WWEMYC pic.twitter.com/lm5sQlHiAn

These two got probably the biggest reaction of the night with their martial arts stand-off before the match. Xia’s martial arts background combined with Karen’s background in gymnastics made for some fun spots. Karen attempted to finish Xia with a frog splash but it backfired when Xia rolled out of the way and moved on to round 2 with a tornado kick.
Winner: Xia Li
Mia Yim vs. Allysin Kay
Consider this rivalry RENEWED!@MiaYim @Sienna #WWEMYC pic.twitter.com/7lgXw727CN
— WWE Universe (@WWEUniverse) September 20, 2018
Knowing these two ladies have history in the ring made this match even more interesting. Their pre-WWE feud was evident, as both Kay and Yim were ruthless with their offense. Allysin Kay was by no means an easy opponent, but Mia Yim pulled out a win with her Seoul Food finisher.
Winner: Mia Yim
