WWE Elimination Chamber 2018 is going down this Sunday, February 25th, live on the WWE Network. We’ve got the announced match card, show predictions, and our overall thoughts for you to check out below. Let us know what you think is going to happen on Sunday by tweeting us: @TheRumbleRamble.
Kickoff Match
The Club vs. The Miztourage
The good guys usually prevail on the kickoff show, which means The Club should steamroll The Miztourage to get the night started off.
Winner: The Club
Ronda Rousey Contract Signing
Although she won’t be competing, Ronda Rousey will be signing her Raw contract in the middle of the ring on Sunday night. If you’ve ever seen a WWE contract signing, you know that they never end without violence, and we expect to see more of the same here.
I think we’ll have a better idea of where Rousey is in regard to heading into WrestleMania 34 for what could be her first match after the Elimination Chamber pay-per-view concludes.
Asuka vs. Nia Jax
Nobody is ready for Asuka, including Nia Jax.
Asuka has yet to taste defeat, and I expect her to continue her winning streak with a victory over Jax.
Winner: Asuka
“Woken” Matt Hardy vs. Bray Wyatt
We think these two could see more success as a team, but for the moment, they’re engulfed in a bitter feud over… who is the strangest?
Wyatt has a pinfall victory over Hardy, but Hardy has gotten the better of Wyatt on a few occasions.
This one could go either way, so we’ll pick with our hearts and go with Hardy.
Winner: “Woken” Matt Hardy
WWE Raw Tag Team Championship
The Bar (c) vs. Titus Worldwide
Titus Worldwide have more than one pinfall victory over The Bar, but only in non-title matches. Now that the titles are on the line, we expect The Bar to walk away victorious.
Winner: The Bar
Elimination Chamber Match for the Raw Women’s Championship
Alexa Bliss (c) vs. Bayley vs. Sasha Banks vs. Sonya Deville vs. Mandy Rose vs. Mickie James
Realistically, no one outside of the three B’s (Banks, Bayley, and Bliss) has much of a chance of walking away with the Raw Women’s Championship in their possession.
Bliss probably makes the most sense, but we believe the money is in a Banks/Bayley match at WrestleMania for the title, so we’re going to go with The Boss to help set that up.
Winner: Sasha Banks
Elimination Chamber Match
The Miz vs. Seth Rollins vs. Roman Reigns vs. John Cena vs. Braun Strowman vs. Elias vs. Finn Bálor
A Universal Championship match with Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania is on the line here, and anything outside of a Roman Reigns victory would be the ultimate shocker.
Reigns/Lesnar II at WrestleMania has been the plan for quite some time now, WWE is more than likely not going to veer away from that plan.
Both Rollins and Strowman are extremely over, but Reigns/Lesnar II will be the marquee match that fans complain about until the bell rings, and the two have another classic bout.
Winner: Roman Reigns
