The 09/04/18 edition of WWE 205 Live, out of the Little Caesars Arena in Detroit, Michigan, just wrapped up. We’ve got the WWE 205 Live results, as well as our overall thoughts on the show, for you to check out below. Let us know what you thought about episode #93 of WWE 205 Live by tweeting us, @TheRumbleRamble.

Gran Metalik vs. Tony Nese

Prior to the match, Tony Nese’s good pal Buddy Murphy said some words about his title match against Cedric Alexander scheduled for Super Show-Down in Murphy’s hometown of Melbourne, Australia. Murphy is extremely confident about his chances in the title bout, and why wouldn’t he be with the match will taking place in his backyard. It can only mean good things for The Juggernaut of 205 Live.

Speaking of good things, we got some good lucha things from Gran Metalik in this match. Metalik is an absolute madman on the ropes, and he used his TV time to once again show how insanely talented he truly is. Metalik got the win and this match was bonkers, so go out of your way to see it if you missed it.

Winner: Gran Metalik

Mustafa Ali and Drake Maverick Chat

Backstage, Drake Maverick refused to clear Mustafa Ali for in-ring competition yet again. Ali is 205 Live, so hopefully he’s back in the ring sooner rather than later.

Noam Dar vs. Bryan Kelly (???)

Noam Dar defeated Bryan Kelly (???) in a squash. Lio Rush was on commentary for the bout, which probably means that Dar and Rush are about to begin feuding with one another, which should be fun.

Winner: Noam Dar

The Champ Speaks… Then Wrestles.

Cedric Alexander called out Drew Gulak, but TJP answered instead. TJP challenged Alexander to a match, which General Manager Drake Maverick approved.

Alexander got the win after a hard-fought match via pinfall, following a brutal Lumbar Check. Post-match, Drew Gulak finally showed up to accept Alexander’s challenge, but the entire thing was a setup. Jack Gallagher attacked Alexander from behind before Gulak ever stepped foot in the ring, and the two men (Gallagher and Gulak) laid the champion out to close the show.

Winner: Cedric Alexander
