The September 24 2019 edition of WWE 205 Live, out of the Chase Center in San Francisco, California, just wrapped up. We’ve got the match results, as well as our overall thoughts on the show, for you to check out below. Let us know what you thought about episode #148 of WWE 205 Live by tweeting us, @TheRumbleRamble.

Humberto Carrillo vs. Angel Garza

After a bit of a slow start, Angel Garza literally ripped off his pants, and things finally started heating up. That’s always a fun sentence to type. Garza, as well as Humberto Carrillo, then quickly started doing the good lucha things, wowing the crowd in the process.

The commentary team really put over the idea that these two guys are legit cousins, too, which is pretty fun. Perhaps we’ll get a team between the two in the near future?

Carrillo got the win via the Aztec Press. Again, a really solid match and a fun way to start the show.

Winner: Humberto Carrillo

Danny Burch & Oney Lorcan vs. Drew Gulak & Tony Nese

First off, seeing Team 1-2 on 205 Live was super fun for me. I still think there’s a lot there with Danny Burch and Oney Lorcan, so any time I get to see them team up again, I’m a happy guy.

Burch struggled early on in this one, getting trapped on the wrong side of the ring for the first few minutes. Once Lorcan tagged in, however, all four guys really started picking up the pace.

The closing sequences were a ton of fun, and Tony Nese, in particular, really shined here. It wasn’t enough, however, as Team 1-2 eventually got the pin on Nese following their elevated DDT combo.

Winner: Danny Burch & Oney Lorcan
