Buddy Murphy defeated Gran Metalik via pinfall following Murphy’s Law. Metalik and Murphy had one hell of a back-and-forth match to kick off the show; go out of your way to check it out if you missed it.
Post-match, Murphy cut a promo in the ring hyping his Cruiserweight Championship bout with Cedric Alexander at WWE Super Show-Down, scheduled for October 6th. The match takes place in Murphy’s hometown of Melbourne, Australia, so do with that what you will.

Mustafa Ali defeated Michael Thompson (???) in a squash match. Ali got the pinfall victory following the 054, which is still one of the cooler finishing maneuvers in WWE at the moment.
Hideo Itami stood atop the ramp and watched the match, just to get a closer look at Ali, meaning those two are going to lock horns again sooner or later.

Jack Gallagher & Drew Gulak vs. Cedric Alexander & Akira Tozawa

Jack Gallagher and Drew Gulak defeated Cedric Alexander and Akira Tozawa in tag team action in the main event of the evening. Gallagher and Gulak corned Tozawa for the first half of the match, focusing in on Tozawa and cutting the ring in half in the process, but Tozawa eventually got the hot tag to Alexander to even the odds. Unfortunately, Alexander was laid out at ringside soon after by both Gallagher and Gulak, creating yet another 2-on-1 advantage, allowing for their team to get the victory in the process.
To close out the show, General Manager Drake Maverick announced a Cruiserweight Championship bout between Alexander and Gulak for next week’s episode of 205 Live.
