The 10/03/18 edition of WWE 205 Live, out of the Moda Center in Portland, Oregon, just wrapped up. We’ve got the WWE 205 Live results, as well as our overall thoughts on the show, for you to check out below. Let us know what you thought about episode #97 of WWE 205 Live by tweeting us, @TheRumbleRamble.

Jack Gallagher vs. Akira Tozawa

Jack Gallagher and Akira Tozawa had a fun back-and-forth match to kick off tonight’s show. Gallagher did an admirable job grounding Tozawa with his mat-based offense, but Tozawa could only be slowed down for so long. Even with Drew Gulak and Brian Kendrick at ringside, Gallagher couldn’t get the job done. Tozawa got the pinfall victory following a beautiful diving senton.

Post-match, Gulak resurrected his powerpoint presentation gimmick. He and Gallagher kicked Kendrick out of the trio to close out the segment.

Winner: Akira Tozawa

Saturday Morning Show-Down

A video package aired hyping Saturday’s Cruiserweight Championship match between Cedric Alexander and Buddy Murphy. Murphy is looking to capture the title in front of his hometown crowd, which would be one hell of a moment, to say the least.

This show takes place at 5 A.M. local time for us, so send coffee gifs to @TheRumbleRamble on Twitter, please.

ANOTHA ONE

General Manager, Drake Maverick, updated the WWE Universe on the status of both Mustafa Ali and Hideo Itami. Remember, last week’s show ended with both men lying motionless on the floor outside of the ring.

Maverick said that not only are both men doing well, but that they will meet in a 205 Live ring again soon, and it will be can’t miss action.

Kalisto vs. TJP

Kalisto and TJP faced off in tonight’s main event with bragging rights on the line. Both men are really good at lucha things, and this match had some of that, but it was mostly TJP wearing down Kalisto with various strikes and holds.

Kalisto eventually defeated TJP with a rollup, but TJP immediately attacked Kalisto post-match and got the last laugh. The show ended with TJP holding Kalisto’s mask high above his head as the rest of the Lucha House Party ran out to make to the save.

Winner: Kalisto
