The Lucha House Party’s beef with Jack Gallagher (who was absent this week) and Brian Kendrick continued, as LHP member, Lince Dorado, took on Brian Kendrick in singles action. Drew Gulak was on commentary yet again; he continues to be fantastic on the headset.
Kendrick fights dirty and the way he goes about things in the ring is insanely creative, which is always fun to watch. He controlled the first half of the match which ease, grounding Dorado and dishing out a ton of punishment.
Dorado managed to squeak out a victory when he hit the Cara Dorada outta nowhere to get the pinfall victory. After the match, Drew Gulak attacked Dorado from behind, but the rest of the LHP ran him off before he could do any more damage.
Winner: Lince Dorado

Up next was a video package recapping last week’s awesome Cruiserweight Championship match between Cedric Alexander and Buddy Murphy. This match was bananas, so go out of your way to see it if you haven’t yet.
Mustafa Ali followed it up with a backstage promo in which he further hyped his match tonight with Buddy Murphy.

TJP faced off against Brian Keith in a squash match. He ran through Keith with no resistance, all while cutting a promo on Drake Maverick. TJP and Maverick have beef, which has led to TJP threatening to leave 205 Live for another brand. Someone needs to leave 205 Live for the red or blue brand eventually, but TJP probably isn’t that guy.
TJP may be headed out, but Lio Rush is ALL IN. A vignette aired hyping his debut, which we’re super excited about because Rush is fantastic.
Winner: TJP

Another week, another fantastic 205 Live main event. These two are super familiar with one another at this point, so the counters and reversals were numerous, leading to several cool moments. Murphy went after Ali’s midsection and refused to let up. Tons of hard hitting strikes, explosive maneuvers, and incredible selling; these two are really good at their jobs.
Ali hit a tornado DDT from the top rope onto the floor, which looked like it killed Murphy. He even managed to roll Murphy in for an 054 attempt, but Hideo Itami showed up and forearmed his face off, which ended the match in a DQ. Itami stood tall over both men to end the show.
