The beef between The Lucha House Party (Lince Dorado, Kalisto, and Gran Metalik) and the Party Poopers (Jack Gallagher, Drew Gulak, and Brian Kendrick) continued this week. The two trios met up in six-man tag action, which was unsurprisingly fast-paced and super fun to watch. Dorado got the win for his team via a rollup with a handful of Kendrick’s tights.
Winner: The Lucha House Party

WWE Cruiserweight Championship Match
.@MustafaAliWWE is ready to get back up from last week’s attack when he faces @TonyNese TONIGHT on #205Live! pic.twitter.com/wHaaqYnTQI

Hideo Itami, who was banned from the building by General Manager, Drake Maverick, cut a cell phone promo claiming that he was going to capture the Cruiserweight Championship sooner rather than later. He also said that neither Mustafa Ali nor Buddy Murphy deserved to be in the main event, which explains why he attacked the duo last week.
Buddy Murphy approached Maverick backstage. Murphy was chomping at the bit to get his revenge on Itami, but Maverick told him to be patient. Following that, Ali cut a promo backstage. Ali said that he was close to victory last week, but Itami ruined the moment, so he and Murphy were both on his radar. He also promoted his match with Tony Nese later in the evening.

Akira Tozawa defeated a local competitor whose name we failed to catch. Tozawa needed to get back to winning and this segment got the job done.
Following the match, another vignette about Lio Rush’s debut aired. Still no date on his arrival, though. TJP also teased switching over to Raw or SmackDown Live again, so it’ll be interesting to see where he is in a month or two.

This wasn’t as good as some of the previous 205 Live main event matchups, but it was still pretty solid nonetheless. Mustafa Ali is one of the best pure babyfaces in WWE, and his ability to sell is without a doubt his biggest strength. He’s been one of our favorite performers to watch as of late. Ali got the win via the 054 after a hard fought victory.
After the match, Ali proposed a triple threat match between himself, Itami, and Murphy for next week. General Manger Maverick quickly made the match official to close out the show.
Winner: Mustafa Ali
