General Manager Drake Maverick announced earlier today via Twitter that TJP would finally get some real competition tonight – and that real competition was a returning Noam Dar. Dar ran over TJP and got the win in quick fashion.

Before the match began, Lio Rush made his way down the ramp so he could get a closer look at Akira Tozawa. Rush and Tozawa made eye contact multiple times during the match, which bodes well for fans like us who want to see those two face off in the near future.
Tozawa got the win, of course, and Rush ran him down on the microphone post-match.

Mustafa Ali vs. Buddy Murphy

Mustafa Ali started the match off with a bang via a beautiful dive from the top rope onto Buddy Murphy – who had yet to even enter the ring. The two then proceeded to beat the holy hell out of each other all over the ringside area, including through the crowd, which was fun to watch.
Once the action made its way back into the ring, Murphy utilized his size and strength to ground Ali, but not for long, as Ali was soon on the offensive again, absolutely refusing to quit. There was tons of back-and-forth, hard-hitting action, which is what 205 Live has been about the last few months.
Ali got the win with a tornado DDT from the top of the steps, which were utilized constantly (and creatively) throughout the match. If you missed this bout, go out of your way to check it out, it’s well worth the watch.
