Drew Gulak and Brian Kendrick went head to head in singles competition to kickoff the show. Gulak controlled the majority of the match, and as soon as things swung in Kendrick’s direction, Jack Gallagher got involved and caused the DQ.
Gallagher and Gulak then beatdown both Kendrick and Akira Tozawa, standing tall to close the segment.
Winner: Brian Kendrick (via DQ)

Ariya Daivari absolutely crushed some poor dude in a squash match. Daivari actually won the match via referee stoppage, a finish that isn’t used enough in pro wrestling, in our opinion.
Winner: Ariya Daivari
Lucha House Party vs. Mike Kanellis and TJP (w/ Maria Kanellis)
Tornado Tag Team Match
Yeah, @MegaTJP will never be able to look at a piñata the same way again. #205Live @KalistoWWE @LuchadorLD @RealMikeBennett @MariaLKanellis pic.twitter.com/I5DgL2hmcO

This match was all kinds of craziness. Tornado tag rules are wild enough, but when you add a pile of tiny piñatas to the mix, things get really weird.
On a serious note, this was a fun match worth checking out if you dig lucha things with a tiny bit of comedy wrestling. LHP got the win, possibly ending their feud with TJP and the Kanellis’ in the process.
Winner: Lucha House Party
