Humberto Carrillo’s high flying offense awarded him the upper-hand at the start of the match. In fact, Gulak was so overwhelmed by Carrillo that he quickly went to the floor at ringside to regroup.
Gulak did eventually get Carrillo on the ground, and he went straight after Carrillo’s legs in an attempt to keep him there. Gulak locked in a nasty Mexican Surfboard, which he followed up with a pinfall attempt for a two count.
Carrillo hit a rolling moonsault, which got him a two count as well. He then went to the top rope and nearly decapitated Gulak with a beautiful missile dropkick, but again couldn’t put Gulak away.
Gulak caught a kick attempt and locked in an ankle lock, but Carrillo escaped. Gulak, frustrated, went to the middle rope (!) for a suplex attempt, but it was blocked violently by Carrillo.
It wasn’t much longer until Carrillo landed the Aztec Press and got the big victory over Gulak.
Winner: Humberto Carrillo

Cruiserweight Champion Tony Nese was at ringside for the bout to get an up-close look at his potential competition.
Early on in the match, Oney Lorcan went for a dive to the floor, Ariya Daivari caught him with a strike, but the force of Lorcan’s impact took out both guys.
Daivari locked in the Million Dollar Dream, which Lorcan countered with the Survivor Series 1996 finish, which resulted in a near fall. Lorcan followed that up with a suplex, a plethora of uppercuts, and even some kicks and chops, which sent Daivari to the floor.
On the floor, Lorcan didn’t let Daivari relax, wiping him out with a springboard crossbody. Back in the ring, Lorcan hit his uppercut/running blockbuster combo and got a two count out of it.
Multiple half-and-half suplex attempts were blocked by Daivari, including one that resulted in him locking Lorcan up in the Million Dollar Dream YET AGAIN, this time in the middle of the ring.
Lorcan somehow got out of it and started slapping Daivari in the face HARD. Up next was big uppercut from Lorcan and another half-and-half attempt, this time from the top rope, which of course was blocked violently.
Daivari hit a frog splash, and then a hammerlock lariat to score the pinfall victory.
Post-match, he and current champion Tony Nese had a face-off to close out the show.
Winner: Ariya Daivari
