The 04/02/19 edition of WWE 205 Live, out of the Royal Farms Arena in Baltimore, Maryland, just wrapped up. We’ve got the match results, as well as our overall thoughts on the show, for you to check out below. Let us know what you thought about episode #123 of 205 Live by tweeting us, @TheRumbleRamble.

Kalisto vs. Oney Lorcan

Oney Lorcan absolutely leveled Kalisto with a running bell right after the opening bell to get things started. Kalisto responded with some fun lucha things, but the action eventually made its way to the ringside area where Lorcan took over.

Lorcan went for the half-and-half suplex multiple times but just couldn’t hit it. Kalisto, however, managed to land his Salida del Sol on the second try. The only problem? It was on the apron, and it took Kalisto too long to get Lorcan back in the ring to score the pinfall.

Kalisto went to the top rope and landed a beautiful 450 splash… right onto Lorcan’s knees. A half-and-half suplex closed the match out, giving Lorcan a huge win over a former Cruiserweight Champion.

Winner: Oney Lorcan

The Champ and the Challenger Brawl

Tony Nese was attacked by Buddy Murphy during an interview backstage. The two brawled throughout the backstage area and eventually made their way to the entrance stage.

Nese ended up getting the better of Murphy during the tussle. After a brutal Running Nese, Nese stood tall over Murphy to close out the segment.

Don’t forget, the two meet for Murphy’s Cruiserweight Championship this Sunday at WrestleMania.

Mike Kanellis (w/ Maria Kanellis) vs. Akira Tozawa (w/ Brian Kendrick)

Maria Kanellis and Brian Kendrick were in Mike Kanellis and Akira Tozawa’s respective corners for this match.

A big lariat from Kanellis got this started early. Kanellis really controlled the pace for the majority of the match. He hit Tozawa with a nasty-looking powerbomb for a two count (seriously, this thing looked gross). A huge (and awesome) spinebuster earned him another two count.

The two brawled around the ringside area for a bit before making their way back into the ring. Tozawa won a striking exchange between the two and then landed a top rope hurricanrana, but only got a near fall out of it.

Kanellis had Kalisto beat with a roll-up thanks to some help from his wife, but Brian Kendrick caused a distraction, allowing Tozawa to reverse it for the win.

This was a really fun episode of 205 Live that ended with an awesome video package hyping Sunday’s title match. Check it out if you missed it, as it’s well worth the watch.

Winner: Akira Tozawa
