The September 24 2019 episode of WWE 205 Live is taking place later this evening.
The following “quick hits” are advertised to be included in tonight’s show:
1. Angel Garza Challenges Humberto Carrillo
Humberto Carrillo’s cousin, Angel Garza, watched the triple threat match for the Cruiserweight Championship at Clash of Champions with bated breath, anxious to see Humberto bring honor to their family name.
Watching Humberto lose the match to Drew Gulak was a serious blow to Angel, a fact which he recently spoke out about on Twitter.
He told Humberto that he “hoped to see him” on 205 Live, and while tension between family is nothing to celebrate, we wouldn’t object at all to a match between these two ultra-talented Superstars.
2. Oney Lorcan and Drew Gulak Kick Things Up a Notch
Although Lio Rush became the official Number One Contender to the Cruiserweight throne on last week’s episode of NXT, Oney Lorcan’s quest for the Cruiserweight Championship will continue tonight on 205 Live.
But this time, he won’t be coming alone. Drew Gulak and Oney Lorcan will face off in tag team competition with their respective best friends, Tony Nese and Danny Burch, by their sides.
Oney Lorcan has vowed to kick Drew Gulak into next week, and with Danny Burch to help him, there is no doubt whatsoever that this will be one intense match.
