The August 13 2019 episode of WWE 205 Live is taking place later this evening.
The following “quick hits” are advertised to be included in tonight’s show:
1. Oney Lorcan Receives Championship Rematch
Though Oney Lorcan was defeated by Drew Gulak for the Cruiserweight Championship at Summerslam, he isn’t giving up on his quest for glory. In fact, since Gulak won the match by punching Lorcan in the throat, showing less than sportsmanlike conduct, General Manager Drake Maverick has granted Oney a rematch tonight on 205 Live.
2. The Singh Brothers Renew Their Rivalry with Lucha House Party
After taking a break from their repeated attempts to best 205 Live’s resident partiers, The Singh Brothers will give beating Lucha House Party another shot tonight.
But this time around, the Singhs will be teaming up with Ariya Daivari, who has recently taken up the hobby of convincing Lince Dorado to turn against his brothers. Lince has resisted up to this point, but being across the ring from Daivari will undoubtedly test his resolve.
If Lucha House Party can remain a cohesive team, they should be able to bring down The Singh Brothers and Ariya Daivari, proving that they are still the premier tag team in 205 Live.
3. Gentleman Jack Gallagher Takes On Akira Tozawa
Both Jack Gallagher and Akira Tozawa were part of the 6-Pack Challenge last week on 205 Live to determine Drew Gulak’s Summerslam opponent. Though they both lost to Oney Lorcan, they will be competing tonight to discover which of them is the better man.
After all, if Oney Lorcan loses his rematch against the champ, the position of Number 1 contender will be open once more and Gallagher and Tozawa would undoubtedly be more than happy to fill that vacancy.
