Last week on Raw, Bray Wyatt finally made his return. But not to the ring, nor with his used-to-be signature lantern, ragged outfit, and mysterious demeanor.
Instead, Wyatt appeared as the host of a new mini-show, Firefly Funhouse, sporting a red sweater and khaki pants, much like Mr. Rogers from Mister Rogers’ Neighborhood (if you’re old enough to remember that particular reference).
Unlike gentle, kind Mr. Rogers, however, Bray Wyatt’s new persona exudes a sort of sinister quality, even though he smiles and laughs while introducing his new friends, Mercy the buzzard puppet and Abby the doll…and chainsawing the head off of a cardboard cutout of himself to represent the eradication of his former identity.
The entire WWE Universe was buzzing upon Bray’s strange return, giving a wide variety of reactions from horror to adoration. To join in on the discussion, members of the WWE roster also shared their thoughts (or lack thereof, Seth Rollins and Cesaro were practically speechless) on Firefly Funhouse.
