For the first time since the 1999 showdown between The Rock and Mankind during Super Bowl XXXIII, wrestling fans were given the option to forgo the usual halftime show of the biggest football game of the year in favor of something with a little more spandex.
This year’s Halftime Heat match was an epic battle between the teams of Velveteen Dream, Aleister Black, and Ricochet, and Tommaso Ciampa, Johnny Gargano, and Adam Cole. Based off the lineup alone, it’s easy to guess that the match wasn’t a dud, but these guys absolutely tore the house down.
