Like many of our favorite Superstars of today, Kushida made his debut long before stepping foot in a WWE ring; specifically, in 2005.

And after a successful nearly 14-year career traveling throughout Japan and North America, Kushida finally realized his dream of competing in a WWE ring, debuting on last week’s episode of NXT.

Moving halfway around the world to work for a new company in a new environment is undoubtedly a nerve-racking experience. Luckily, Kushida was met by his old friends, Kairi Sane, Io Shirai, Kyle O’Reilly, and the War Raiders, Hanson and Rowe.

Hanson and Rowe were particularly excited to witness Kushida’s arrival in NXT, as Kushida was the one to welcome them when they first came to Japan back in 2015.

With his exuberant personality and stellar in-ring capability, Kushida has already wowed the WWE Universe in a match against Kassius Ohno and is sure to continue to do so as he battles his way through the NXT roster.
