Since the inception of the special back in 2014, there have been a total of 24 NXT TakeOver Events, each more incredible than the last. Though this is far less than the 72 pay-per-views and Network Specials that have aired under the main WWE banner over the last 5 years, you’re sure to have forgotten a TakeOver match or two.
To refresh your memory of how awesome the TakeOver events truly are, WWE released a video outlining 5 of the best, yet least talked about NXT TakeOver matches. The following is a list of the matches included:
5.
Lars Sullivan vs. Kassius Ohno
TakeOver: WarGames (November 18, 2017)

4.
The Ascension vs. Kalisto and El Local
TakeOver (May 29, 2014)

3.
Ember Moon vs. Billie Kay
TakeOver: Brooklyn II (August 20, 2016)

2.
Kassius Ohno, Roderick Strong, Ruby Riott, and Tye Dillinger vs. SAnitY (Eric Young, Killian Dain, Alexander Wolfe, and Nikki Cross)
