With WrestleMania 35 behind us, it’s time to move on to the next big show: Money in the Bank. Although Money in the Bank is still several weeks away (it will take place on Sunday, May 19th), there have already been a couple of matches announced for the event.
As of today, Tuesday, April 23rd, the Money in the Bank 2019 match card stands as follows:
Becky Lynch (c) vs. Lacey Evans
Raw Women’s Championship Match

After capturing both the Raw and SmackDown Women’s Championships from Ronda Rousey and Charlotte Flair, respectively, Becky Lynch wasted no time in declaring herself a fighting champion, saying that she would be more than willing to take on any and everyone who wished to challenge her.
Lacey Evans almost immediately took advantage of this opportunity, attacking The Champ Champ at every turn. This gained her a number one contendership match against Natalya, which she won, claiming the spot in this Raw Women’s Championship Match at Money in the Bank.
Seth Rollins (c) vs. AJ Styles
Universal Championship Match

While Becky Lynch has certainly had a few ladies gunning for her championships, Seth Rollins’ list of contenders topped it. The Kingslayer had no less than six (seven, if you count Kofi Kingston’s attempt at becoming the champ champ like Becky) competitors approach him for a chance at the Universal Championship: Drew McIntyre, Rey Mysterio, The Miz, Baron Corbin, AJ Styles, and Samoa Joe.
After two triple threats and a singles match between AJ Styles and Baron Corbin, Styles came out on top, seizing what will probably be one of the biggest matches on the card at Money in the Bank.
