We all thought the Superstar Shake-Up ended last week, but the roster changes were still to come. Last night on SmackDown Live, 3 Superstars who were announced to have moved on came back to the blue brand, 3 more returned to SmackDown after a year away, and 1 may or may not be on the Tuesday night show, it remains unclear.
Andrade, Zelina Vega, and Aleister Black all appeared, even though they were traded to Raw during the Shake-Up. Andrade and Zelina Vega claimed to have decided to move back to SmackDown Live to continue their pursuit of Finn Bálor and his Intercontinental Championship.
Aleister Black was less clear about his intentions on SmackDown, shown alone in a dark room where he cut a cryptic promo hinting at that direction he planned to go. Black said that he was a “tragic character” and that, because of this, the world would undoubtedly soon have him condemned.
Jinder Mahal and his cohorts, The Singh Brothers, also turned up on SmackDown, though they have been long-time members of the Raw roster. Unfortunately for Jinder, Samir, and Sunil, they were trampled by Lars Sullivan moments after making their debut.
The landscape of SmackDown Live continues to become more exciting, and may even include Bray Wyatt and his new show, Firefly Funhouse, in the near future, as the character appeared on both Raw and SmackDown Live this week.
