Apollo Crews and Andrade Face-Off in King of the Ring Tournament
The first round of the King of the Ring Tournament rolled on last night on SmackDown Live, the first of the two event matches featured on the show was this battle between Andrade and Apollo Crews.
Apollo and Andrade went back and forth in an exciting match, with Apollo Crews actually besting Andrade through much of the action. But Andrade’s insurance policy, his manager Zelina Vega watching from ringside, made things a little more complicated than Apollo bargained for.
Apollo was closing in on the victory over Andrade when Zelina distracted him, allowing Andrade to hit his crushing hammerlock DDT and advance in the tournament.
Buddy Murphy Challenges Daniel Bryan
For anyone who thought the match between Buddy Murphy and Roman Reigns was just a fluke, a. you must not watch 205 Live and b. now you know for sure, Buddy Murphy is the truth.
Buddy Murphy gave Daniel Bryan the fight of his life last night on SmackDown Live, overcoming all of Bryan’s not-so-sportsmanlike tactics, including an attempted assist from Rowan, Daniel’s tag team partner and protector.
After taking out Rowan to prevent any interferences or disqualifications, Buddy Murphy slammed Daniel Bryan with his Murphy’s Law finisher, defeating the former WWE Champion in jaw-dropping fashion.
Sami Zayn Reveals His “Purpose” on Miz TV
Sami Zayn has been a bit lost as of late, using his time on TV to tear down WWE and anyone who enjoys it. And it appears that he will still be doing this, but now with a purpose behind it.
On last night’s edition of Miz TV, Sami Zayn announced that he had finally found a cause he could get behind: speaking for the Intercontinental Champion, Shinsuke Nakamura.
As Nakamura’s first language is Japanese, Sami saw this as the perfect opportunity to put his talents to use. Sami Zayn will be the brains and Shinsuke Nakamura will be the brawn, which he demonstrated by beating down The Miz to close out the segment.

Bayley Confronts Charlotte Flair on A Moment of Bliss
Normally, Alexa Bliss personally invites her special guests for A Moment of Bliss, but last night, Charlotte Flair had some things to say, so she requested to be on the show to use it as a platform.
As expected, Charlotte Flair had some less than nice things to say, particularly about Bayley, who she claimed was an unworthy Women’s Champion. But it didn’t really matter, because Bayley may be the champion, but Charlotte Flair is the face of the entire Women’s Division.
Bayley took exception to this speech, and joined the ladies on the stage to respond with her thoughts. The champ challenged Charlotte to put her money where her mouth is and step in the ring with her at Clash of Champions. And after the match was apparently set, Bayley remembered that she had one more thing to say – and shoved Charlotte and her chair to the floor.
Daniel Bryan and Rowan Uncover “The Truth”
Are we seeing DOUBLE?!

Daniel Bryan and Rowan have been on a rampage ever since Buddy Murphy pointed the finger at them when confronted by Roman Reigns regarding the recent attempts on his life.
Poor Buddy Murphy has been on the receiving end of several beatdowns, both at the hands of Rowan and Daniel Bryan and Roman Reigns. But to prove their innocence once and for all, Bryan and Rowan trapped Reigns’ “real” attacker in a room backstage, promising to expose his identity at some point in the evening.
In the final moments of the show, Roman Reigns came to this room, where Bryan wrenched off the cloth covering the attacker’s face to reveal a Rowan look-alike, vehemently insisting that this man was the true culprit. He obviously isn’t, but boy was it fun to watch Daniel Bryan argue that he was.
