Tyler Bate Meets WALTER in the Ring
Ahead of their NXT UK Championship Match at NXT UK TakeOver: Cardiff, WALTER extended an invitation to Tyler Bate to meet him in the ring this week on NXT UK. To this point, WALTER has proven again and again that he has no objection toward using his fellow Imperium members to gain control of any given situation.
But Tyler Bate was well aware of this tactic, and after a returning Trent Seven took out Marcel Barthel and Fabian Aichner earlier in the evening, Bate came to the meeting with WALTER armed with a steel chair, smashing it over Alexander Wolfe before coming for the champ.
And luckily, Trent Seven wasn’t far behind and held Alexander Wolfe at bay while Tyler Bate brawled with WALTER. With a little help from his friend, Bate came out on top of the exchange and posed with the title to close out the show.
The Undisputed Prophecy is on the Horizon

To kick off the August 21 2019 edition of NXT, The Undisputed Era came to the ring to air their grievances with the way NXT TakeOver: Toronto unfolded. After an acceptable amount of congratulations was showered upon Adam Cole, who retained the NXT Championship after a grueling 2-Out-Of-3 Falls Match with Johnny Gargano, they got around to what they really came to say.
All three remaining members of The Era, Kyle O’Reilly, Bobby Fish, and Roderick Strong were downright robbed in their TakeOver matches. Kyle and Bobby lost the NXT Tag Team Championship Match when Kyle was pinned for a three count, losing the match, even though Bobby had gotten a blind tag just moments before, making him the legal man.
And to make matters worse, the North American Championship was stolen from Roderick Strong when Velveteen Dream pinned Pete Dunne for the win, making Roddy a loser by proxy, not because he actually lost.
Because of these glaring injustices, The Undisputed Era saw no reason why they shouldn’t go right back to their pursuit of an Undisputed NXT. And that’s exactly what they plan to do.
But before they could leave the ring area, Jordan Myles made his entrance, silently challenging Adam Cole (who was not at all happy about this decision) for his NXT Championship, an opportunity awarded to him for coming out on top of the Breakout Tournament.
Mansoor Tries His Luck Against Damian Priest

Since his debut, Damian Priest has been bulldozing his way through the NXT roster. But being a man who is always up for a challenge, Mansoor took on the challenge of stepping in the ring with the Archer of Infamy.
Though Mansoor was clearly prepared for battle, and kept pace with Priest for much of the match, Damian Priest maintained control and ultimately took the victory with his Reckoning finisher.

Shane Thorne Proves Himself Against Bronson Reed
Equipped with his new attitude, Shane Thorne challenged NXT’s self-proclaimed “resident thicc boi,” Bronson Reed, to prove that The Worst is actually one of the best.
Reed made his NXT debut as a competitor in the Breakout Tournament, and though he did not make it to the finals, he did demonstrate just how powerful he is by defeating Dexter Lumis in the first round.
But this remarkable strength wouldn’t be enough to bring down Shane Thorne, who, after a hard-fought match, emerged victorious with a kick to Bronson’s face – and a handful of his tights.
Matt Riddle Takes On Killian Dain
In a continuation of what has already been an absolutely vicious feud, Matt Riddle demanded that Killian Dain meet him in the ring for an official match since the impromptu brawl at NXT TakeOver: Toronto didn’t turn out quite as he had hoped.
Unfortunately for The Original Bro, Killian Dain was just as dominant this time as he has been throughout their entire rivalry, particularly because Riddle came into the match already “injured” from their previous encounter.
And it was later revealed that, after Dain had laid the smackdown on Riddle in the ring, he continued the abuse outside of the arena, as Riddle simply refused to accept defeat. There were many mentions of Riddle’s possible “internal injuries” throughout the evening, and after this savage beating, there may just be some truth to that speculation.
