Stone Cold Moderates Contract Signing
After last week’s contract signing between Seth Rollins and Braun Strowman went off the rails thanks to interference from AJ Styles and The OC, they tried a second time to make their Universal Championship Match official, this time with Stone Cold as the moderator instead of Michael Cole.
As expected, Stone Cold opened the show to raucous applause, having entertaining interactions with both Seth Rollins and Braun Strowman after warming up the crowd with a few stories.
But once again, AJ Styles and The OC just couldn’t let Rollins and Strowman have their moment, and interrupted. The contract had already been signed, but that didn’t stop Styles from doing his best to lay a verbal smackdown on The Rattlesnake, who fired right back, creating one of the funniest moments on Raw in recent memory.
Becky Lynch and Charlotte Flair Take On Sasha Banks and Bayley
Sasha Banks wasted no time in coming for Becky Lynch’s Raw Women’s Championship the moment she returned from hiatus, and soon after the destruction began, brought Bayley along for the ride.
Since Bayley and Sasha Banks are both in championship matches against Charlotte Flair and Becky Lynch, respectively, on Sunday, they teamed up in an effort to give themselves a leg up going into the pay-per-view.
Becky Lynch and Charlotte not only had the same goal in mind, but they were also looking to get a little revenge on the Boss ‘n’ Hug Connection for their unprovoked attacks the last few weeks.
The intense rivalry between the four women, on top of the high level of skill shared between them, led to what was an incredible tag match.
Rey Mysterio Challenges Gran Metalik
After suffering an embarrassing loss to Andrade in a 2-out-of-3 falls match, Rey Mysterio was feeling particularly low about himself and the future of his career. Luckily, his son Dominick was nearby and talked him down from retirement.
In his first battle since deciding to continue his in-ring career, Rey Mysterio took on fellow luchador and Lucha House Party member, Gran Metalik.
This match was everything you could have hoped it would be. Even though Rey Mysterio came out on top, both he and Gran Metalik shined equally, gifting the WWE Universe a jaw-dropping performance.
Hopefully, this is just the start of a series of matches between the two, as this is one of those match-ups that left you wanting more.

King of the Ring Semi-Finals: Baron Corbin vs. Ricochet vs. Samoa Joe
As last week’s quarter-final match between Samoa Joe and Ricochet ended with both men’s shoulders on the mat, WWE officials decided that they would both advance in the tournament, making this semi-final match a triple threat.
Though Baron Corbin was nervous going into the bout, as he obviously wasn’t too keen on facing two competitors instead of one, he put his worries aside and focused on the task at hand, which proved to be the right decision, as he won the match and will, therefore, move on to the finals on Sunday.
This was an awesome match that gave the feeling that any of the three men could be the one to walk away with the victory – and both Samoa Joe and Ricochet nearly did.
The Fiend Remembers
In another fascinating look inside the mind of Bray Wyatt, this week’s edition of Firefly Fun House featured the puppets questioning Bray in regard to his allowing the “stranger” Stone Cold Steve Austin to come to Raw without suffering the same consequences as Jerry Lawler, Mick Foley, and Kurt Angle.
After “fixing” Abby’s clock so that it read 11:19 instead of 3:16, he taught the puppets the difference between a stranger who will become a victim of The Fiend and a stranger who’s simply a friend that hasn’t been made yet (Stone Cold fit into the latter category).
Seth Rollins and Braun Strowman, for example, had made tons of new friends throughout the night, but all the friends in the world couldn’t save them from what was coming.
