The October 7 2019 edition of WWE Raw went down last night in the Rabobank Arena in Bakersfield, California. Listed below are the 5 best moments from the show.

Be sure to check out the full results from Raw as well!

Lacey Evans and Natalya Go to War in a Last Woman Standing Match

To kick off the action in last night’s episode of Raw (after Rusev demolished Randy Orton and Baron Corbin, of course), Lacey Evans and Natalya pulled out all of the stops for a Last Woman Standing Match.

Lacey Evans was beyond confident for this bout, going as far as to bring a trashcan emblazoned with Natalya’s name to the ring – and eventually smashing it over the Queen of Hart’s face.

But this overconfidence would eventually be her downfall. She beat Natalya down for basically the entire match, which only added to her self-assurance, but gave Natalya a chance to come back in the final moments and take the win by catching the Southern Belle off guard and powerbombing her off the stage.

The Viking Raiders Gain a Shot at the Gold

As The Viking Raiders have been bulldozing their way through the tag division since debuting on the main roster, the only logical next step was to challenge the Raw Tag Team Champions, Dolph Ziggler and Robert Roode.

Erik and Ivar demonstrated their strength once again, defeating Ziggler and Roode after a hard-hitting match. And to make the night even better for WWE’s resident seafaring warriors, they were awarded a shot at the Raw Tag Team Championships, which will take place next week on Raw.

If The Viking Raiders are successful in their attempt to take the gold, we can only hope that the Authors of Pain aren’t too far behind, because a feud between these herculean teams would be a fantastic next chapter for both.

Aleister Black Returns to the Ring

Ahead of the upcoming draft, Aleister Black finally left his darkened room and came to the ring to challenge whoever was foolish enough to step up to the anti-hero of WWE.

And Samir and Sunil Singh were more than happy to be those fools, as they felt quite confident that together, they would be able to bring down their enigmatic competitor.

As expected, Aleister Black absolutely leveled both Sunil and Samir with ease, taking one brother down with his classic Black Mass finisher before leveling the other with a new (to WWE) submission manuever, the Owari Death Clutch.

Lucha House Party Challenge The OC

As AJ Styles had his brains scrambled by Braun Strowman in a 6-man tag match at Hell in a Cell, he and his OC brothers were out to remind the WWE Universe how dangerous they are in a match against Lucha House Party.

And given that Styles, Gallows, and Anderson are a trio, this match presented a rare opportunity for all three members of LHP to participate. To our surprise and excitement, Lucha House Party more than held their own against their powerful opponents, taking The OC to the limit before ultimately losing the match.

If this is the start of a more serious presentation of Kalisto, Gran Metalik, and Lince Dorado, we are here for it 100%, as they have proved time and again that they can produce magic in the ring.

The Kabuki Warriors Take On Becky Lynch and Charlotte Flair in Women’s Championship Showcase

This weekend at Hell in a Cell saw Asuka and Kairi Sane, collectively known as The Kabuki Warriors, win the Women’s Tag Team Championships from Alexa Bliss and Nikki Cross.

To celebrate their victory, they took on both the Raw and SmackDown Women’s Champions, Becky Lynch and Charlotte Flair, last night on Raw. Though Charlotte and Becky are obviously highly formidable opponents for any challenger, Asuka and Kairi Sane’s newfound commitment to winning no matter what saw them to victory after another green mist attack from The Empress of Tomorrow.

But defeating their fellow champions wasn’t enough, and Asuka and Kairi continued to brutalize Becky and Charlotte post-match. That is until Alexa Bliss and Nikki Cross ran down to make the save; although it was less about saving Becky and Charlotte and more about getting revenge on The Kabuki Warriors.
