The October 14 2019 edition of WWE Raw went down last night in the Pepsi Center in Denver, Colorado. Listed below are the 5 best moments from the show.

Be sure to check out the full results from Raw as well!

Becky Lynch and Charlotte Flair Battle to Start the Draft

Mirroring last week’s opening segment of SmackDown, Becky Lynch represented Raw in a match against Charlotte Flair, who fought for SmackDown, to determine which brand would receive the first pick in the second night of the draft.

Charlotte Flair and Becky Lynch have proven time and again that they are each the perfect competitor for the other and this match was no different, The Man and The Queen tearing the house down and each other apart.

The Queen suffered yet another loss, again with a roll-up in the final moments of the match. Though the first pick of the draft was therefore given to Raw, Charlotte more than showed her worth to the blue brand.

Ali Looks to Impress Against Andrade

At this point of the night, Ali had yet to be drafted to either brand, so the stakes were particularly high for him in this match against Andrade. The former 205 Live star never fails to impress in the ring, and did so again on Raw, surely making a name for himself with the executives behind the picks.

As usual, Zelina did her best to interfere, and though Ali overcame it longer than most, he eventually fell victim to her head scissors attack, setting Andrade up for the Hammerlock DDT which allowed him to win the match.

The Viking Raiders Take the Gold

As The Viking Raiders have bulldozed their way through the tag team division since arriving on Raw, they were awarded an opportunity to challenge the Raw Tag Team Champions, Dolph Ziggler and Robert Roode, for the titles.

Ziggler and Roode fought hard and didn’t give up their championships easily, but in the end, The Viking Raiders’ power and faultless tag team offense brought them to victory and made them the new Raw Tag Team Champions.

The Street Profits Get Physical

For the first time since making their Raw debut, The Street Profits threw hands with another team. AJ Styles and The OC, learning that Angelo and Montez had been drafted to the same brand, confronted the Profits backstage while they gave their usual rundown of the events of the show.

Styles, Gallows, and Anderson approached The Street Profits, feigning excitement that they would be spending a lot more time around each other from here on out. But their true intentions were soon revealed, as Styles ran down Dawkins and Ford, questioning why the red brand would want or need them when they have a team like The OC.

A brawl broke out between the two teams, after which The Street Profits were left lying on the ground backstage, meaning that this rivalry will certainly follow them into the coming weeks.

Buddy Murphy Takes On Cedric Alexander

In an effort to impress their new brands, Cedric Alexander and Buddy Murphy went one-on-one before the final draft picks were made. Though this wasn’t their longest match, it was every bit as exciting as you would expect from this match-up.

It took everything Buddy Murphy had, but ultimately, he was the one to take the win with his superkick/powerbomb combo followed by a Murphy’s Law.
